This is one of the few uploads of this soundtrack on KZbin where the SID voices sound at least approximately "correct" as to what it sounds like on the original 6581 without aftermarket filtering 🔝

I've been wondering about the title screen music for many years now. It doesn't sound quite how I remember it. I'm trying to find recordings of it on real hardware, because I suspect that most of the uploads on here are emulated. When I play it myself on emulation, it produces subtle differences between different emulators. And if this particular upload comes from a real C64, then I'm only left wondering if the difference is caused by the two variations of the SID chip produced. Or perhaps if Pal and NTSC could cause differences other than just slowdown. Every version I here sounds reasonably close to how I remember it, but not quite.
