Everyone mentioning now it’s “empty”, let me fill you in, they were opening for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. When the Strokes came in March 2020, they played at WAMU theatre which fits 9,000 people at capacity. However, at THIS show, they’re playing in a stadium with over 47,000 seats. So, playing T Mobile park is a massive venue…

I caught the show in Detroit and Julian was wearing the exact same outfit 😆 I love the Strokes, but they were incredibly disinterested during their performance, which sucks because I paid an exorbitant amount of money to see them

I caught them when they had just released Room on Fire, and they were awful. Julian was so wasted he could barely stand. Same as Albert. They actually used guitar dubs, cause he couldn’t play.

Yeah, I’ve seen Julian preform 3x. Twice with the strokes, once with the Voidz. And the best performance he put on was at Neptune theater with the Voidz. He was incredible and seemed like he liked the vibe of the crowd in the intimate venue. I’ve seen clips people post of Strokes shows in places like LA, Where girls are singing so LOUD and screaming, it like totally seems like Julian dislikes too much screaming over him and too many phones filming. At The Voidz show it was like NO phones hardly at all- the audience was chill and just really into it but not being annoying. I’ve noticed when the girls are crazy Julian will turn his body away from the crowd and sing with his face turned away. But it’s dope When he seems relaxed and at ease. It makes for a way better show… How much did you pay for your tickets @ the Detroit show? Those tickets from last summer were pretty damn expensive considering how high up I was. It was like $450 for 2 tickets… I got them as a birthday gift - the show actually fell ON THE DAY of my 33rd bday! I saw them in 2020 in March, literal days before the entire country was locked down from Covid.. and that show was okay… Every time they come to Seattle, it seems to be at the beginning of their tour. Like Within the first few shows. Thank God Jules wasn’t shit faced… Lol that’s a funny story about the Room on Fire tour. I think the clips of Julian drunk were usually pretty funny. But if it’s to the point they don’t even perform, that freakin blows.. Room on Fire was their best album IMO…

@Ashley Katelin seems like bug venues just isnt his vibe at all maybe even performing live playing the same songs ovsr and over like he'd rather be making something new than going all over the us playing for a crowd thats there to watch someone else
