I am watching the Kurtis Conners video right now but through the start of his extensive search for the Ultimate Command Center Gaming Chair I don't understand how he let the fact slip by him that it is advertised in the Video by ToysRus so it would have most certainly been listed in the Official 1999 ToysRus Catalog and I came up in the era of being a young kid just wishing for something cool from ToysRus for Christmas and whenever something was listed in those old Catalogs they had almost like a mini sales article telling all about toy pictured that you wanted along with all the specs and features because I would clip them out and make a Christmas list with the top 10 things listed 1-10 on a piece of construction paper with the thing I would love the most at #1 with the name of the Toy written next to the corresponding number of importance and then the picture clipped out of the Catalogs and pasted right next to it and any one of the 10 toys would be my dream gift for the year that I hoped and prayed that I was good enough to get and that my Mom would put in a kind word with Santa that he might leave just one of those toys under the Tree for me and I will never forget the one year I got my #1 Dream Gift from ToysRus it was a Red "Fast Traxx" RC Car with like a Tank Tread type drive system for wheels and it was so cool and so fast I will never forget opening that gift up on Christmas Morning! 🥹 🎁🎄📜🎅🏻

Just follow the steps for a 3x3 at that point. It doesn't make a difference what size you originally started from. Even if it's only 2 pieces that are out of place you might still have to move all 9.

That's why I uploaded it. I couldn't find anything on google or youtube either. Since then some reuploads and apparently tik toks have appeared, but those videos have inferior quality or watermarks so I assume they're all just using this footage. Which I don't mind, it's not like I made the ad myself.

This thing is so fascinating and I really want to know the story behind this product. It seems like it was originally intended for some other purpose that didn't work out and was last second spun into being marketed as a "gaming chair" to offload as much of the already manufactured product as they could to dumb kids. Nothing about it seems like it was made for playing video games. That thing on the front isn't shaped for holding a controller because it's not a flat surface, and looks like it would kinda get in the way of where you'd naturally hold the controller. The marketers were aware that this thing has no selling points so they got out in front of the questions you'd normally ask and just said "if you've got questions, you're not a real gamer!" They shoved a CD into a little compartment at the base to make it look like it's got some storage for your video games, but I doubt it was even designed for that. If they wanted to design this for being a gaming chair you'd figure it would have a cup holder, or a flat surface to hold snacks or SOMETHING. There has to be more to this story.

I'm a little flabbergasted myself that it hasn't become a meme. I was watching an old VHS compilation when I spotted this and just had to clip it. I tried to force it on /v/ once or twice but gave up as I'm an old man without the endurance needed for such a task.
