No I haven’t seen any.. just find some organic fungicide in Agra.. also don’t hurry the grafting part in or too close to the soil.. also don’t cover the grafting part with mulch. 🙏

Very much impressed. Which part of Namibia are you? I am also having sandy soil in my garden water is not lasting may be my mulching is not good. What types of leaves are in the soil you are using to trabsplant your Wambugu apples? I want to come and visit your farm for exposure and experience purposes if allowed.

Have you experienced any root rot that eventually kills the apple tree. I lost two of my apple trees through root rot

A similar experience with me as well. I have lost a lot of plants from root rot, as a result of soil fungus.

Root rot is most due to poor drainage in soil, when the plant is logged with water for long.. less likely for roots to have fungus.. If your soil is clay , dig a big hole and replace with well demposed manure.. I didn’t loose a tree from root rot
