They were at least 20 years ahead of everyone else.

Orgy had that one amazing album and then didn’t really stay in the limelight! Bands like korn,Slipknot, disturbed,Godsmack and Sevendust and many others, never really went away. It’s a shame that orgy did 😕

They were still quite popular with their second album, having songs in movies n appeared in an episode of the show charmed performing at the club. Their 3rd albums is what did it, style change n no longer being part of Korn's record label.

This is such a stellar performance from Jamiroquai‼🤩 It's a shame there aren't that many live performances on KZbin from when they appeared on talk shows, even though if you look up on Wikipedia, you'd see that they were constantly being booked all throughout the 90s, especially here in the US during "Travelling Without Moving"-era. I'm starting to realize that this is somewhat of an underground band now despite their huge popularity and success twenty to thirty years ago (not to mention the countless other musicians and genres they've influenced since then). Not gonna lie, it's kind of cool that I can find videos posted fifteen years ago with only a few thousand views that feature live performances from Jamiroquai that were once watched by millions - almost as if I'm stumbling upon some hidden relic of a bygone era (and in a way, I am). However, I've lamented about this before to several people and in various other comment sections, but it really does suck to be a Jamiroquai fan in 2023 where you're scraping the internet for just measly crumbs of content. I have no idea how JamiroFan2000 can literally upload daily Jamiroquai news updates with so much nothing going on. And it's not a matter of the band being inactive or "not like they used to be", if anything, Jay Kay's voice has gotten all the more richer with age and from the concert footage I've seen at festivals they've played this past year, the band is spot on with everything they do. Jamiroquai hasn't ever been as polished and technically brilliant as they are now - like a fine wine, it seems everyone has gotten better with age. (Not saying they weren't spectacular before, there's just an extra 'oomph' to them now, I don't know how else to articulate it lol). As for this performance, I really, really like it. I love how Jay improvises the melody and gives it a little extra flavor at some points, just goes to show what a fiercely intelligent and talented vocalist he is. I also like to study how Jay's faux American accent he uses when he sings has gradually changed throughout the years, I think the way he sings here is very entertaining and endearing.
