I have logged like 1300h in D2. And the winner is 100% going to be Warframe despite me having only played the intro. But I've been watching a lot of D2 content creators switch to Warframe and they just have fun. I keep playing D2 only because it's perfect for people suffering from depression who wanna distract and punish themselves at the same time.

Warframe is what Destiny wants to be .

Warframe because it’s cost is zero It has an incredibly expensive story, the developers, actively interact and participate in different things with their community and they listen

There are some exceptions though, like the glaive bug that let you have the glaive orbit around yourself

Destiny is harder to get into, they have a "had to be there" kind of mindset while warframe has a "go do a thing to get the thing" mindset. The gap between new and old players is the reason warframe has more players

Warframe best game!

I have been playing MMORPGs for a couple decades now, starting with Everquest, and I am not the person most raids are balanced for. Most raids in most games are beyond what I can get to, so a game built around raiding is not for me. It’s just not. Now a game like City of Heroes that had a couple raids but wasn’t in any way built around them? That was fun, actually? I got to participate. I wasn’t locked out. I appreciated the people who stepped up and led those raids because they were a ton of work, herding everyone. But if I hear anything about a game being balanced for raids, I am reluctant to even play, and certainly very reluctant to spend money. In other words, I prefer Warframe, where I can actually play the content, over Destiny, where the content everyone is so focused on is out of my reach.

Destiny 2 isn't F2P it's free to try Devs continuously Sunset content players paid constantly nerf any fun players find , but it's still fun bc it does bring something WF doesn't have Challenge apart from that nothing else Wf gives you the freedom of a true F2P game never takes away content ( Sadly raids were removed ) The amount of customizations is beyond mind blown ,all normal weapons are unique and don't feel like a redskins of the same weapon for the 7time with just a different perk and much much more But in the end both are great games one simply forces you to pay 100€ per year to play While The other you pay bc you want to support the devs nothing else

over 3k hours in d2 and 1k hours in warframe. destiny 2 was fun, I enjoyed it a lot, but bungie just keeps failing imo. DE just keeps on upping themselves and warframe just feels more enjoyable at this point in time

Short answer: Warframe. With a little bit of competition in the past. Long answer: I've heavily played both games and adore both for their story (except for D2's way of handling the defeat of the witness and post content), themes, and gameplay. From what I've seen, Destiny is a lot more focused on keeping the sand inside the sandbox, limiting the amount of power the player has to make endgame still challenging. Probably a bonus to the development team because balancing and difficulties aren't hard to work on with this system. That's why raids feel so gratifying when done right, seeing your team's min maxxed builds come together and face off against some of the hardest, most beautifully crafted content the game has to offer. But honestly that's it. It's JUST the raids, and it's JUST min maxxing. If we went back to an era of Destiny where everyone was still figuring it out, and everyone was just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks, it'd feel much like how Warframe has treated us now: goofy little gun guys that just wanna get stronger. Alongside the dev team just straight up ignoring problems at this point, their efforts just keeps decaying with what they release, completely ignoring what the community favors (like seriously, not only do they release a mobile game that not a single living gamer asked for, they made MOBILE EXCLUSIVE content on top of that. My partner is in complete shambles knowing she'll never have the taste of wielding a super scythe as a Warlock). I'm not in the know for the more recent fumbles that they've made, but I consider the 1400 hours of raiding I've done as a true waste of time now. The charm that people had, just screwing around and making jokes about what the raid bosses would look like the size of a shot glass, it's all gone now. The mystery, the magic, whatever made Destiny A DESTINY, is gone now. But from all the wishy washy rollar coasters Bungie took us on, DE is a COMPETELY different team. Warframe took the sandbox mentality and said "f*ck it, make it a DESERT", and gave the players so much freedom to take on the system that new players instantly feel overwhelmed. If they can get past that mental barrier, they'll realize that Warframe lets you do ANYTHING. Want a build? Here you go! Want free cash? Grind arcanes and go trade happy! Want your dog that you got day 3 to be the only thing that carries you in steel path? Be their guest. Digi has CONSTANTLY adapted to US because we get too creative. Coptering became a game mechanic (AND IT CAME BACK [IDK WHY THEY DID THAT BUT THAT'S SO COOL]), Critical hits became so achievable they had to add exclamation points JUST to show you how much damage you're screwing them up with. Warframe as a whole is freedom. You're free to take choices you wish to see in YOUR story, you're free to spend all the platinum you've earned to make your little robot look like a walking dance floor, you're free to pick up and put down the game anytime you feel like it. Hell, I've taken three breaks of it since writing this and every single time I've come back it's always given me a place to start without fail. Digital Extremes took the line "Ninjas play free" and turned it into the basis of everything thay they've built for us. Warfame has been nothing but consistent, powerful, and fun. It obviously has it's own issues, but their mobile game is AN ACTUAL PORT, on top of having ANOTHER app that's JUST a handheld orbiter. They did it better than Bungie and they *DID IT FIRST*. Case in point, Destiny has highs and lows, and the highs never matched Warframe's. Both were fun, and one still is. To me, Destiny's life is a tragic one, because I loved seeing all the little builds I had worked on to their fullest, but it never felt like my builds truly surpassed the bar they set. But no matter what I try in Warframe, it's either trying again, or I become a nuclear bomb with pegs for legs. It's nothing short of a fresh breath of air, everytime. I miss Destiny when it had it's place, but don't expect me to come back anytime soon. Warframe is my home for turning factions into red mist, and it's going to stay that way until my roguelike craze consumes me. Even still, there's Duviri. ...told you it was long.

Warframe has the BEST monetizations system I've seen on a game and its BY A MILE -You only pay for cosmetics or speedups -They very often give 75% discounts, SEVENTY FIVE PER CENT -They add a lot of community made items and ON TOP OF THAT they pay a part of the sales of said items to its creators -No item/weapon/warframe is locked behind a paywall -You don't need to buy plat cause they allow you to farm items and TRADE IT fot the plat It's the only game I'm not against buying stuff, I even buy plat even when I don't actually need just to help the game, you know, that vote with your wallet thing

A huge reason I quit destiny 2 after 5k hours is their anti fun mindset. I am so happy to see that warframe has a, fun first, dev team after playing for 20 hours now. Definitely planing to stick with this game

The "Pseudo Exalted Rework" is the big problem here, everything else is fine and expected. I think many people will be unhappy with the exalted changes, I'm pretty okay with it but I'm expecting my Khora whipclaw will drop from 200 Million damage to something like 10 Thousand

blast is nice to have on fast melee weapons since it double dips from hitting multiple enemies at once, whips, staffs, polearms... anything with some decent range on it will make great use of blast

i have a ryzen 9 5900x 12 core and even i get similar fps to some lower cpu's, its just valve being valve and not coding their games properly again. they really need to fix the optimization
