If, could, might?? All the incidents listed are gas pipelines NOT LNG Carriers, there have been zero LNG Carrier incidents despite hundreds being in use. Safety standards are extremely high, the capital cost of these projects is so high they will never risk it blowing up.

We need to end all fossile fuels as quickly as possible. Coal emissions kill people, oil and gas kill less but still in the hundreds of thousands per year. "Natural" gas carriers could be carrying small nuclear warheads, same explosion risk. Switch to atomic energy now, replace all of those fossile reactors. It's easy to do, no need to invest in new power lines or energy storage. Just replace the reactors and good to go.

Listening to CBC radio early this morning. I hear non aboriginal people suddenly expressing critical concern that aboriginal people are living under the dictatorship of the hereditary chiefs. @@redrock861 not really. If we could supply China with LNG we could do more to halting climate change than having everyone stop driving vehicles tomorrow. We capture a majority of gasses in Canada and tge tech gets better every year with tons of room to inrprove it. The amount of damage coal is doing in China to refine lithium for tesla's and solar power plants is immense. Involving our indigenous communities to Stewart and protect these lands while we do our part to advance humanity is key. Using Canadian energy instead of Saudis or Russian energy is key. We extract and produce the cleanest practices in the world, with tons of room to continue to improve. Green energy as it is right now cannot work in reality. Why? We can't store captured energy. We have no battery tech to do it. Even star trek burnt Dilithium. Per pound, fossil fuels offer 500x more energy per pound. This is a problem we have to solve and we don't have a solution as of yet. The sun gives life to this entire planet! The amount of energy it gives us is inconceivable, we cant store it. We can capture percentages since Nikola tesla, we can't store it.
