Oh yeah! In ten years the heat in southern Italy will have increased so much that you'll think you're living in a damn oven! and this broken little town will look like a cemetery! (Hahaha! actually it already does that)

OMG ! This property is perfect ! Although there isn't much " italian character," it is fully modernized with so many bonuses that expats would be looking for ! The huge front patio, the huge back terrace with views, the 3 extra large balconies, all the extra bathrooms, separate laundry, walk in master closet, the bonus family area in basement with separate kitchen and bath. The storage area, the garage, the yard big enough for dog and garden plus extra parking. I would only add a dryer and 2 dishwashers !! Good value for such a large property in good condition. Great find !

That is a beautiful home and it has a huge living room. All of this house is really nice. I would love to live there if only I was 10 years younger I would have jumped on getting this house.

Kitchen, swap out the table for a kitchen island to provide more storage for small appliances, and still have some seating for 6, and the table top for food prep as the counter space is limited.
@eleanoreagly484417 сағат бұрын
Convert the half bath to a 3/ quarter by moving broiler, taking full width of the end next to the window for a shower, have a toilet with bidet attachment, next to sink, remove the second that would be in the way of installing a shower.

How far is the walking distance to catch a Pulman to Termoli? Does the bus have a drop off at the train station? I would like a town that I so not need to own a car, only an electric assisted bicycle to assist with grocery shopping. Am old and have a limited walking distance.
@rossinniandco16 сағат бұрын
Hi, it's about 8 min walk to the bus stop. In Termoli the bus terminal is not at the same location as the train station. There's about a 10 min walk from one to the other

I’m sorry but the view kills it for me. I don’t prefer the tiles downstairs as they look grimy. For the price, I’d expect a much better view and more green spaces. Perfect for those that like these type settings, but for those who prefer country living, fresh air, and tons of greenery, a huge pass.

Beautiful. Only one problem. If someone parks a car in front of the only window, you have no natural light. If you are able to open the shutters and then they park there you won’t be able to close them.

Hilarious!~I am in Missouri! Great idea for old license plates! But sadly, that bathroom tile would drive me insane. At first thought gosh, a lot of money for that top area, then you brought us below and viola! Both are great spaces! I wonder how or if an ensuite could be put in upstairs, even if just a WC with sink, on the master. Really like this one! Great find!
@michellemason2222 күн бұрын
Wow, while nice finishes, property is drastically over priced. Priced based on what you paid to make it the way you want, doesn't mean everyone or anyone else would like it. A shower in main bath and dishwashers are mandatory for expats , and only expats would be paying anywhere near that price. The tiny bedroom means poor planning. The radiator is on the wall where the TV needs to hang to view from bed. The master bed is also poorly designed. The bed facing the terrace with no view means also no being able to watch TV from bed. So, electric placements, radiators, shower, and kitchen cabinets would all have to be redone to expat standards. The extra unit is not an extra unit without a bedroom. Such a waste. The entire room would have to he reconfigured to fit a bedroom, which means redoing all the cabinets. The tile in the entire bath would have to he replaced. no one wants to look at tile that looks dirty or moldy. There is no way you can put 2 cars in that garage unless they were right up against each other with no way of getting inside them. Just too bad so much money was spent on poor design choices that would have to ge entirely redone. Value maybe $125,000 considering so much has to be ripped out, living thru construction is a nightmare.ibwouldnt even bother. Hard pass

Great house, great restoration/renovation. Some missed opportunities, though. Main house bathroom is large enough for both a tub and shower. Independent lower level lacks a bedroom. I'd definitely connect the two levels and most likely convert the garage to a bedroom. I agree with what someone else said about the upstairs kitchen area. I'd probably want to use the lower-level kitchen and remove the upper-level kitchen.

👉When considering pricing, remember that if you get a professional to renovate your home prices go from €800 to at least €1,500 psqm. Considering that this property is about 222sqm (for what I recall) it is priced appropriately

For a one bath two bed main floor. It would have been better with a shower stall, not bathtub. Imagine having to "rush" your bath tub soak just because your housemate needed to do a number two😢

That downstairs could not make a good self-contained unit. I'd rip the kitchen out and make that space into a family entertainment room and reopen the stairway. Italians might be artistic and stylish, but they are just not very practical. I can say that since I am largely Italiano. 😂😅😂😅 Ciao!

When you addressed the tile down stairs I was just wondering if that was a design feature of just grungy tile. I have to say I hate that tile. its disgusting.My wife wouldn't even walk into that bathroom.The house overall is great though, although the neighborhood is a bit weak. I wish it was in Abruzzo. I just don't find Molisa that charming. Actually the house is really nice and does check a lot of boxes. A garage is a big plus for me. I'd personally want it all connected. I'd have 0 interest in renting out part of it. I'd need space for visitors, which I'd get it I was living in Italy. The price was good as well, but I'd have to reconfigure it some. I would want more bedrooms and not two kitchens. but the fact that it's not four stories tall is a plus for someone in my age range. but it has a certain charm. Hummmm? It's funny there was another house very slimier to that one shown on another site a while back.

The tiles down stairs are hideous. Downstairs is very odd. Two kitchen house with only 2 bedrooms. I think they made some major mistakes with this renovation. Downstairs a Smaller kitchen at the entry with sitting area would’ve been more appropriate and the kitchen area could’ve had a small and medium bedroom.

Nice remodel and well done. I laughed when you said the Harley Davidson wasn’t included. Harley Davidson is very popular in the US. It’s out of my price range, however, it will be a good 👍 investment for someone! I like that this is a bigger town than most we see.

Beautiful house. Seems kind of pricey, but it’s very nice. I would make it an open bedroom downstairs where you walked in. Build in a closet under the “stairs”. I would make the stairs a library area by just using her steps as book shelves. I personally wouldn’t mess with the kitchen and living room area downstairs. It’s too nice and open…and in most of the Italian houses you show, big open spaces is a luxury. I would leave the garage. It’s nice to have someplace to store things and they had work out equipment in there.
@caterinaborg34413 күн бұрын
I cant ever understand the logic of Italians 😂😂...why would you go to all the trouble of closing up the downstairs and buildout a separate lower level w/o a bedroom?? I also wouldnt have used those strange looking tiles in the bathroom, since bathrooms are supposed to be designed to LOOK hygienic... Other than that, the house is nice, but expensive for that area. I recently saw a nice house with lots of acreage and olive trees in tuscany for $212,000€

That bath was a bad renovation - small bathtub where you can not stretch out, I am sure most would prefer a larger shower there. Europe is not Japan - where these short baths are common. Otherwise i have to say - interesting place. That really shines if you open the staircase and then remove the downstairs apartment and turn it into whatever - i.e. an office for working from home, at least in my case. WELL done renovation, though - like it.

I agrée that the downstairs space is oddly without a bedroom, nor closet space for clothing. However, the wall where they have the couch right now could accommodate a full or Queen sized Murphy bed, and they can come with built in cabinets that could be made to look like an attractive piece of furniture. When night rolls around, light a nice fire and presto chango here comes the bed. The stairs up could become a series of pull out drawers to accommodate more storage, and more large pull out drawers below the stairs could either accommodate storage or a pull out twin sized bed for a guest. I’d keep the bottom and rent out the top. The difficult space between the front door and garage could become an open office/gaming room. Inexpensive changes with no structural impact.
