Security tags trigger the sensors by the entrance and exit magnetically. By disrupting an electromagnetic field produced by the sensors themselves. Does anyone know if one of these msgnets would trip the alarm?

My brother, which one do you think is more comfortable and which one would you recommend me to choose? I live in Türkiye. There is a price difference of approximately 28 dollars between the two shoes. Which one do you think makes more sense to buy? I will probably start high school. I will generally buy the shoe that will last longer and will be more comfortable to adapt to the environment there. I will wear it everywhere.

The insole itself is around 1/2 inch thick at the thickest point of the midfoot. For better information, u can contact skechers directly

Both will squeak if you get it wet but otherwise they are no nosier then any other sneaker I have.

I bought the Defy to wear them at work where I stand all day but I think the sole is too soft because after 3/4 hours standing I feel my heel like sinking into it and it hurts. Are the monarchs more comfortable or should I buy completely different shoes? (I come from air max and air force and never had a problem standing all day with those, but they are too expensive to use in a paint shop 😅)

Defy is just a straight downgrade. Monarch's is a good working shoe especially if you have a long retail job that requires you to stand the whole day

Returned this and got the fern with lumbar.. Night and day difference.. Fern is way more supportive especially with the optional lumbar.. Also i felt with the embody that i cannot sit in a upright position. The embody slightly leaned back even at the top most lockout setting.... Glad there's a 30 days return policy. Everyone's body is different.

Have you washed them or cleaned them yet, and if so please share how you did it. I just purchased a pair and I love the fit- best fit I ever experienced.

Hello, I cleaned them with just damp paper towel and rinse the soles with soap and water. I do not put it in the washer. My job is not that dirty so it doesn't get too dirty. I am sure they are durable enough to be washed how you wash your regular shoes though. Have a great holidays!

Honestly yeah, secret lab chairs look nice, but they're rock hard and not comfortable after long hours. Also they start breaking apart after a few years, they cost well over 700$ taxes in nowadays. Yes the herman miller cost a fuck ton of money but i feel it will last the test of time

That's true, I read some anti cruise stuff on the internet so I want to make sure I am aware and do the best I can on the ship to make sure they are taken care of. @aimanyr3172 Hello, it fits true to size for me but I do like to wear thicker socks. It is a bit loose to help you slide in so I think it will come down to what socks (if you wear any) you wear. For reference, I wear the Darn tough socks which are thicker then average with this shoe. Hope that helps and have a good weekend!

I got a pair, I would say they are comfortable. It’s kinda weird in terms of sizing, my feet is usually size 10 (EU 43) but with these I size up to 11. I probably want to get size 12 just to have more room but it is what it is. Thank you for the advice tho! Luckily I didnt bought mine using their only app, I was anout to purchase the exact size haha

And if you ask me, most retailers are thieves. They treat their employees like trash and pay them minimum wage. They write off any crumby thing they do as "Just business". For example, there's a sporting goods store near me that sells this stuff called Mass Gainer. It's like a high calorie protein powder with appelin and other essential nutrients for putting mass on in bodybuilders. I've shopped there for years and the stuff went from being just over $100 a bag after tax to about $140 a bag in about 2 years. They do it in increments so we don't notice. Anyways the other day (and this was my first time doing this), I decided to break even a little after being ripped off there so many times before. I put on a hat, a rona mask, and sunglasses, ran in, swiped a bag, ran out. The stuff was right by the door too so it was actually stupid easy. Anyways my point is with the housing market screwing everyone and people barely getting by, ripping off greedy conglomerate chains from insured stores, isn't hurting anybody. I'd never steal from an individual, or a little mom and pop shop. And where I live, stealing is ridiculously commonplace. You know how I know? Because I've worked in retail loss prevention/security lmao Ironic huh? Coming from a former LP, you can take my word for it.

Yes I think for gym and some light workout you will be ok. But it can get hot and is not lightweight if you do weight lifting. There is also no ankle support for high tempo sports.

Hello, I don't think so, everyone's feet are shaped differently. May be you need a W? They make wide for these models too I believe. As long as it fits good, you rock them!

Thanks bro, I got a monarch that I bought in the us, I was looking for something similar where I live and the defy was the closest I’ve found, for some reason Nike sells the defy but not the Monarch in Brazil, I could import through Amazon but the price would double after taxes and shipping, I guess I will give the Defy a try it looks like a solid option

Hey Gabriel, hope you like your Defys! They are almost the same in terms of fit and wear so it comes down to style. It's a shame Monarch cost a lot more as it is the iconic one of the two. Do you have any Nike stores in Brazil? Maybe they sell it at the same price. If not, Defy is as good if not lighter for everyday wear.

Seriously, where I am, both are selling cheap. Yet, i am not buying them. They are not the best options for the money unless you must buy Nike. The air unit is not full length on the Monarch. Check out Rose Anvil’s channel
