Was there too - for the FIRST time in my LIFE (I'm 53 & have been concert-going since I was 24), I had massive tears pouring down my face during Derek's solo 😮 it was THAT powerful live. Ty for posting 😊

There's so many things to admire in this amazing rendition but one thing that really stands out is the way the vocalist meld together. I mean this is Marc Rivers time to shine but Susan and the back of vocals really fill out the sound spectrum. And the vocal improv that starts around 345 rips my heart out every time.

The first time I saw Susan Tedeschi play was with the Allman Brothers at the Beacon Theater in early 2000's. She plays a mean guitar. And her husband, Derek Trucks, the best description of him is from Gregg Allman: "Derek Trucks is the guitar player my brother would have become."

I might be wrong but it looks like Susan wants to break into something new. Perhaps a bit to much same ole same ole. Derek is still brilliant as always and Susan is always fantastic. Bless your souls, and I loved that girlie vocal bit; so nice.
