My son's friend works at a fragrance store. Two weeks ago he gave me Qaa'ed and a bottle of Geparlys White Label for free as they were overstocks. Quaa'ed is my favorite of the two. Never owned a Middle Eastern frag before and I'm quite surprised at its scent and longevity. It's not for everybody and can be somewhat polarizing much like Varvatos Dark Rebel.

Blind bought and now looking at reviews. Pretty spot on with yours . Initial spray smells good as it dries down smells like cigarette smoke . Dry down unique for sure and so far with a full day of wearing in cold weather have gotten 3 compliments from women and when the wind hits smells really nice earthy incensey manly bold high end niche vibes

Rogue Perfumery's Bon Monsieur is an exceptional Aromatic Fougere. Moss throughout. opens with Lavender, then Carnation with Fir in the background per my sample. I also have a recent 90 ml purchase of Bogart Signature; very good and an exceptional value. It is lighter on florals, yet packs a punch with Moss, Birch and Leather. This one works with my nose and my frugality.

Wonderful side by side review, I do own the Sauvage Elixir and you quiet right it does have a bit of a synthetic opening and a harsh spicey nutmeg at the top. However the dry is to die for, and it is a room filler when it comes to its sillage. But ever since I've sniffed the Boss Bottle Elixir I fell in love with it, and I am also waiting for the Black Friday this side of the equator and I am definitely getting a full bottle. Keep the great reviews coming, truly appreciated you're one of the very few guys that keep it real in this fragrance game. 👏👏👏

Im in my late 20s and I'm heavily considering the Elixir. Its just straight up Christmas vibes and Im HERE for it! Absolu smells good but it didn't walk up to me and give me a warm hug like the Elixir did. I would totally wear it with a heavy flannel at a party while sipping on some whiskey.

Dahn oud al shams was my signature scent around 10 years ago . Oud was never a Mode, just Western didnt know it at the time .

I picked up Absolu 200ml for $169 when it came out. I still prefer Elixir. Elixir has a darker vibe which I enjoy. Absolu is lighter with a dusty edge. Elixir is bolder than Absolu. Performance is better on Elixir for me.
