Almost nobody knows that, long before he became a Punch Brother, Noam was the owner/operator of an Internet forum called the Telecaster Discussion Page. Its successor, under different ownership, is still online as the Telecaster Discussion Page Reissue, AKA "TDPRI."

Ten years later (this week)... I still love coming back to this production. It was really too windy to get a technically perfect recording with the equipment on hand. But I'm so glad we pushed forward and captured a memorable performance that so many have enjoyed.

Esteemed Mnsr Pikelny... I adore your musical practise having spent now nearly 5 decades in my practise with much time spent on the Banjo here in Australia. Now Noam.......this video is superb!!! You have nailed that type of humor that us Aussies call 'taking the piss' Now.....please tell me that in this video is you are taking the piss mate.....otherwise I have to accept that you have narcissistic tendencies......oh my lord.....existential crisis.....who is taking the piss....you or me....

Musical talent - and a huge sense of humour, too. Banjo, guitar, that strange, beautiful resonator thingy; I forgot the great voice, too. What a b*st*rd! He should be ashamed of being so talented.

Just wow. I am still digesting what I just heard, still processing the amazing picking of a master and how it figures in a song that ends up just well.... good.
