BlueFalcon:Fact vs Myth

Let's be real, there is a LOT of speculation about special operations and all things military out there. The internet is full of "This unit is better than that unit!", "ThEse gUys are thuh BeSt", but it's mostly fanboy, CallofDuty nonsense with more misinformation than not. Here, we give you accurate, objective information on interesting or widely discussed military topics and frequently asked questions using verified, widely available information, published works, or first hand accounts, including my own experience with combat operations in a joint special operations environment, without violating OPSEC or revealing trade secrets, of course. We will present factoids about awesome and daring raids and operations, compare and contrast different units and specialties, special operations selection courses and fitness programs, and debunk some of the many myths out there. For civilians, Krav Maga is the best art to study if you want to learn realistic street defense against guns and knives. The Isralei army uses it and they don't waste their time on anything that doesn't work.

This. I can see why some Krav Maga instructors have been brought in to refine the weapon defenses because the ones shown here, specifically against the upward stab and gun threat to the rear are just plain bad.

lmao im telling u im a black belt in MCMAP so that u know ur comment was worthless to me. My proof that i'm a black belt is in MCTFS, on the NAVMC form, and my certificate...which, on KZbin i cant proove

i know this...im a Black Belt in MCMAP. Just bc you know MCMAP doesn't necessarily mean u know how to "fight". Tan Belt is a joke.

Mcmap is a required thing in the Marines now. You have to qualify for your tan belt atleast.

you are right...many candidates who graduate from boot camp end up in desktop jobs, but I wonder if during a dangeours situation, the survival instinct can turn any half-sack soldier into a raging bull...or propperly said, A Devil's Dog...
