You don’t absolutely need it per say, but it does make inventory management A LOT easier. I did another video on ESO+ that includes some tips on managing inventory with the subscription. Check it out if you’re on the fence about paying for plus!

I've enjoyed the video, however personally I feel taking CP as an indicator when to do or when to be able to do certain stuff is rough... Each and every individual has their own journey through ESO and in the End, it comes down to what you spent your time with and what your experience level is and Not where your CP number is. Do you get more dmg mitigation with more cp? yes, however on veteran content a lot of Red Areas you're dead with or without CP, so learn to avoid damage is still Key ;-) Do you do more dmg with more CP? yes, but since cp 2.0 the difference is smaller than people think.... remember it always scales of the base dmg you're doing without CP.... I recently started on PC an alt account out of curiosity.... (CP2900ish on main account) Of course i knew exactly what to do - First time in vSS on CP195 as DD (not even close of beeing bottom dps), on yolna the lack of gear and cp was the most notable DPS wise.... Lokke/Navhi not so much due to better positioning in Trash phases where it was easier to compensate. Second time vSS on Maintank and Offtank with about 280 CP, there i wanted a tiny bit more for some dmg mitigation cp's.... even that would have been possible below cp200 I feel... Like said, in the end it comes down to getting familiar with the content as nothing beats experience in this game while CP is only a number which will grow over time.....
@TheESOTipsАй бұрын
Completely understand where you’re coming from. The CP versus content level recommendations I included are really just that - recommendations. If someone watching this video is, say, CP600, but hasn’t put together a great setup or gotten experience with the mechanics discussed in the sections before the orange portion of the continuum, then they might not be ready for vet trials. On the other hand, someone at CP900 might have essentially focused only on doing hard content since they started and could be capable of clearing content in the upper red range. These are general suggestions, and there are absolutely plenty of exceptions. My goal with this video was to get people who don’t think they can do vet content, hard modes, etc. to try it out, and to provide guidance for how to progress to the next level - not to say that someone can or can’t participate in certain aspects of the game based solely on their character’s level or cp. I do agree with your points, just want to clarify my thought process when putting the continuum together. Appreciate the feedback!

You can get deadly pieces from the vendor at Bruma in Cyrodiil with alliance points, but the items you buy will be random. If you want to make sure you get the pieces you want, I’d recommend buying from guild traders with gold, but that might end up being fairly expensive.

Yes, unfortunately there’s not much of a tutorial for guild traders in game. Pretty small part of the game to get turned off by though. Once you’ve listed a couple items you’ll have it down. And to be fair, you probably don’t need a guide just to use it, but some folks might need one to get the most out of it.

I would except that the pay to win inventory only comes with plus. I am not paying $18/month just for that. The stories are not good enough and are written for 5 years olds. I guess the scheme is to annoy players who are not in ESO+ to either pay or quit the game. Right now the only berable way to play the game for non ESO+ is to completely ignore crafting an PVP. And just take it as a lesser, but more longer, version of skyrim.
@TheESOTips2 ай бұрын
Yeah crafting is pretty difficult without plus. I don’t know of any reason why you couldn’t PvP without plus though, especially with siege being stackable now. And for the record, the craft bag and additional storage space aren’t the only benefit of plus. You also get all DLC except the most recent chapter, a crown allotment, increased experience gains, the list goes on. I also kind of take issue with the piece about the story writing. Most of the game is very well written from my perspective - even some of the side quests are quite interesting. There are a few duds in there, sure, but overall I think ZOS does a good job with storytelling. BTW, there are a few ways to get more storage space without plus. If you’re interested, I also have an ESO+ video in which I talk through some of those methods for people who don’t have the membership.

@TheESOTips2 ай бұрын
I agree the gear is kinda garbage, but I think the real point of IA is simply to be another type of content people can do, and that it’s mainly two-person focused, which hasn’t been an option in the past. There are other rewards besides the gear, too. Overall, I think it’s a fantastic addition to the game. Especially considering that you can do IA even if you only have the base game.

@@TheESOTips not even just different styles. I like things like having a sword in one hand and maybe an axe on the other. It feels like it's more lore friendly too because practically you might want an axe to use alongside a sword for blocking, since it would be easier to hold your own sword against it's corners or an enemy's weapon can be blocked easier with an axe's curves. Or maybe a club accompanied by an axe for example. Perhaps a regular club and then a club with a spike too. It feels more realistic to have that kind of utility.

I bought the Gold Road Collector's edition and after 160 hours of gameplay I'm debating whether to continue or not. It's a pain to spend hours trying to open 10 slots in the inventory and after a few minutes of gameplay having to do it all over again... unfortunately ESO Plus is very expensive in my country and I've already paid a lot for the game, but it's just not fun to spend more time managing inventory than playing it.
@TheESOTips3 ай бұрын
Sounds like you’re having a tough time. I’m assuming you’re trying to be a crafter. Are you trying to keep all the crafting materials you pick up? If so, maybe try to only keep the clothing/smithing/enchanting/etc. mats that correspond to the level of your associated skill line. Have you unlocked the available storage coffers? I know that can be a lot of work depending on how you get them, but having all of them in your house would increase your available space by quite a bit. I’m also assuming you’re using your bank, but have you upgraded your bank space? The first few upgrades are pretty cheap, but you’re right, after a few bank and/or bag space upgrades, they do get pretty pricy. Another more involved option that would increase your space would be to create “mule” characters to hold some of your supplies, if you haven’t done that already. Hope this info is helpful and you find an easier way to manage, as it would be unfortunate for you to quit playing and miss out on all the fun you can have in ESO due to inventory space issues. Good luck!

Bro please disable screen shaking its horrible and messes with your Bar swaps... Everyone should be able to clear everything up until God Slayer. They made the game way too easy and dmg way too high. Nobody should be afraid and everyone can play Arcanist. No real challenge up until the newer Trials.
@TheESOTips3 ай бұрын
I haven’t had any issue with the screen shake and really don’t even notice it, but great tip for those who would prefer it to be disabled! I’ll have to disagree with you on the other piece though. While achievements like Dromathra Destroyer, for example, might not have been a challenge to you, there are many players who have a hard time with it and other content of similar difficulty. Sure, that level of content is possible even at lower CP than I suggest in the video once you have enough experience, exposure to mechs, raid awareness, etc., but most have to work their way up to that. That said, I totally agree with you on the point about not being afraid to try pushing for the harder achievements. Gotta get your hands dirty to gain the knowledge/skill needed for those newer hard modes and trifectas!

I was streaming and screenshake was brought up to me for the first time 2 days ago. I had never heard of it tbh. I am not sure about the affect it has on skills like Wall of Elements, as stated above. But, removing screen shake does help smooth out your POV.
