@miff227Ай бұрын
i think he mis-spoke, definitely do a wash and rinse first, then add fresh suds for the clay-bar
@miff227Ай бұрын
...or maybe it's satire, or maybe this is actually the best preparation for wrap.
@euniqueautostylingАй бұрын
This video is more to be funny, but my prep is to iron decon, wash, clay bar then wash again. Then dry. Then alcohol wipe every panel before I install the material.

Does the finish on the stainless pose an issue with the vinyl?

Not at all. Do a good clean on it. And lay the material.

The blue tape was to prevent the hood insert from scratching the vinyl?
@euniqueautostylingАй бұрын
The tape is to help the material not stick to the other panels. And move easier. I’m also using 3M satin black

Dude LEARN how to WRAP! You needed NO HEAT on that simple fender, except for posting heating when you are finished.

If I was t working with such a shit film I would 100% agree like I said in the video. But this is a calendared vinyl. It needs heat to be playable. I much prefer 3M over any other film
