Sometime in the 60s a jingle writer got an assignment to write a theme for the new Batman series. They stayed up all night writing lyrics telling Batman's backstory, motivations for fighting crime, and how his partner Robin is always by his side. They then wrote the melody to include a perfect crescendo to capture the viewer's attention and make them feel like they couldn't possibly miss the show. After a sleepless night they then got to the office and ran into the board meeting just in time to hear their boss say "a song that says Batman over and over! I love it! Send it down to the studio." (Or at least I like to think that's what happened)

When I was a kid, the dentist office I would go to had a TV in the waiting room, and the receptionist had the box set and would always put on one of these tapes for us if we asked nicely (I usually picked Return of the Jedi). I’d get through about ten minutes of the actual movie before getting called in for my appointment, so this trailer is pretty much ingrained into my memory.

My family probably went through like 15 different VHS tapes of return of the Jedi as a kid because of how often me and my brothers watched the movie. I think we literally watched it like over 200 times. And the same with the Empire strikes back in a new Hope but not as excessive.

They say the 1989 or the dark knight is the definitive batman theme but we all know which one still stands

Well I love the soundtrack then the movie it's not, my favorite version I rather watch 2005 better than 1976 film because the 1976 king Kong version does not have no Dinosaurs which is a huge disappointed and big disappointing and disappointment to me that's I watched the 1933 and 2005 instead so one well see dinosaurs again in the upcoming monsterverse movie godzilla x Kong the new empire in the hollow earth

King Kong 1976 is forever the BEST! I can't believe they created a 55-foot-tall life-sized kong! The king kong machine cost 1.7 million dollars???!!! Are you kidding me?! King Kong scaled the World Trade Center with little to no fatigue. King Kong Survived a 1,368 feet fall from the World Trade Center. Dwan became a star and a legend of being the beast's beauty. Kong was trying to protect Dwan, and not himself. I really hope for to see Jessica Lange in a new King Kong film, in Skull Island TV Series Netflix, maybe in Skull Island Season 2, or In Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Kyle Chandler is in Godzilla vs. Kong after being in 2005 King Kong film. Jessica Lange will always have Kong.

Throughout the 90s, we only had this copy of New Hope which I watched over and over and had never seen either of the sequels. The previews for it in this promo is all I had ever seen of them. Eventually in early 1996, my Dad was digging through our bin of blank tapes with movies and show taped onto them and revealed that had taped Empire and Jedi off from the Sci Fi channel years prior. So we put in the tape for Empire and it began in the middle of the fight between Luke and Vader in the carbonite chamber. I was confused by the events as I had no idea what was going on. Luke is suddenly fighting Vader, and Leia, Chewie, and the droids are in a shootout with stormtroopers and are preparing to escape the planet in the Millenium Falcon. It had me very eager to find out what it all meant. And recently, I imagined that if Empire was told in the media res, this would actually be an effective opener for it before flashing back to the beginning of the Hoth scenes and showing it's way up to the Bespin battles.
