If we shore up the line and the LB core via the portal..7 and 5. We will win 2 we shouldn't win...lose 2 we should win. I think we will be better overall. Brutal schedule. THWG. Go Jackets!!

Got a great nucleus in the secondary hopefully #17 nor #18 hit the portal. #17 showed flashes of keeping the offense in good feel position on his punt returns and going to probably take a few to the house. Considering player statistics with Georgia's team is much less useful for the reason that its starters rarely play more than three quarters. A significant amount of scoring by their opponents was accomplished with UGA's backups in the fourth quarter. All of UGA's backups have gained valuable playing experience given this fourth quarter practice by Kirby Smart. It's a significant reason why Kirby Smart teams have so much depth.

The Yellow Jackets can lose the game against Georgia. so it's extraordinarily silly to say we have nothing to lose.
@ZackJonesGT8 ай бұрын
Why is the Georgia game something for us to lose? UGA is favored by 24. UGA needs this game to make the playoffs. We beat them, their season is ruined and its the upset of the decade, possibly the century. Tech has already secured a bowl game this year. We showed improvement this year. Realistically, we dont have anything to prove. A team that has nothing to lose is way more dangerous than a team that is fighting for another natty
@SkeeterHawkins8 ай бұрын
@@ZackJonesGT Brent Keys disagrees with you. He doesn't want to lose against Georgia and every game and opponent is significant to him and his program. Coach Keys isn't into "not having to prove anything". Oh contrare, Coach Keys believes that the Yellow Jackets have something important to prove in EVERY game...including our game with Georgia. I do agree with you that beating Georgia is quite a tall "ask" of our team.
@ZackJonesGT8 ай бұрын
@@SkeeterHawkins wanting to win a game does not mean you have something to lose or something to prove. next year? maybe. but in the first year of the brent key era, it means nothing to beat Georgia. would it be freaking amazing? yes. but it means NOTHING FOR US. and EVERYTHING FOR THEM. beating georgia and winning 7-8 games vs losing and winning 6-7 means nothing
@SkeeterHawkins8 ай бұрын
@@ZackJonesGTCoach Kirby Smart's focus in winning seems to be directed towards his players recognizing that complacency kills champions. His team seems to be consumed with that end. Given their conspicuously enormous talent, it's profoundly unlikely that they'll somehow not be extraordinarily motivated to win their final game. They are "PERPETUALLY DANGEROUS". The Yellow Jackets MUST PLAY PERFECT FOOTBALL to defeat this Georgia team. Kirby's team hasn't won a mind-blowing 28 games because they don't have anything to prove; that's far more dangerous than if they had nothing to lose. Georgia's team is probably the best composed team in all of college football by a good bit. Look at how many games they have been behind an yet came back and blew the doors off their opponents. Tech can only beat UGA if it can better execute...and that has not happened in quite a long time. Go Jackets! Sting ' em!!
@SkeeterHawkins8 ай бұрын
@@ZackJonesGT If a team has ''nothing to lose" in playing a game, then they play with less effort and motivation. Teams play "TO WIN". The Yellow Jacket players would decidedly not agree with you that you have "NOTHING TO LOSE" in being defeated by uga. First, the Governor's trophy is lost which means a lot. 2. Competitive personalities of players takes a hit when they lose (ask any competitive athlete about their thoughts on losing) and 3. If there is nothing to be lost in losing a game, then why are coaches routinely fired for not beating their arch rivals?? This "nothing to lose" notion is as silly as it is utterly untrue..Just saying@
