I must be honest, if I were bisexual, I would fall into what you say: Marrying a woman, and totally hiding my bisexuality to not have anything to do with LGBT. I'm sure as hell I wouldn't have any of the hardships and traumas I had growing as a gay man. But sigh... I guess I would end up resenting her, the family and everyone over time. That's what was happening to me while I was in the closet as a gay man for +30 years (I'm 45 now). At least as a gay man I always be honest and never dated a girl, even suffering a huge pressure from everyone. In Latin America (I'm from an homophobe country there) is not unusual to find bi or gay guys married and faking their lives as straights, but I value women so much that I couldn't go to that lie. If I were bi, I wouldn't be as honest. Is a big "What if" that bothers me, big time. Because the wife does not have the guilt of the man's sexuality either, she is a victim too. I wouldn't cheat either, but I guess I could become a very bitter homophobe man. There's the possibility I could take the higher road just like I did as gay man, and I'm seeing this with all my current emotional baggage. I don't know. Maybe I'm projecting, I only have like 6 months out of the closet. I have to deal with a lifetime of internalized homophobia. Sigh...

Found my soulmate on grinder which I think is ironic. We both gave up looking and resorted to grinder for hook ups but when we matched up it was something from another dimension. We are both very traditional and conservative. Both strongly believe in love and monogamy.are in our 40s and can count on 1 hand how many sexual partners we’ve had. We both took an at home hiv test before we became intimate. Both family oriented and love kids, both go to church. We can stay up til 5 am just talking in bed and making out and wake up at 7 to coffee and watching Netflix in bed all day. We are both super successful: he’s a marketing director and I’m a college teacher. Grinder is toxic but I have to give credit where credit is due: you get all kinds on there.

The desire of attraction is within all souls, however, the soul (a point of light) is genderless, either male or female. The soul simply plays it part according to the body's gender. The first mistake humans made was to identify themselves as male and female, a body, rather than the soul occupying the body. Sometimes a soul will have stronger feelings for the same body type or just with the soul alone, the personality, which is absolutely normal. Souls have been taking birth to male and female bodies since time immemorial. And in some births we are drawn to a certain body preference due to past life experiences.

Umm yeh so first thing to get clear is that a twin flame is not a SPLIT at all, its is more of an echo or a synchronization. And although the connection is intense and often romantic thats not what its all about. Second, while sure you can have many soulmates, more than one twin flame is RARE. And YES gay or lesbian or whatever twin flames are a thing. From my noobish experience, it comes with more challenges because of all the stigma from both mainstream society, and the LGBT's socail groups tendency towards either ouright addictive indulgence, or closet case situations. Ego death will happen.

As a gay hekan phallic shaman myself with about 25 years on my path starting at the age of 15. Neo egyptian is more of a modern take of neo wiccan or paganism of ancient kemetic magick called Heka. In Heka itself there are a few creation stories that deeply involve not only the primordal mound to which in one myth atum jerked off and seeded the earth creating, not only the other gods but man and kemet itself. Heka does not follow a modern neo concept. Now of you are talking about practices of the golden dawn with Crowley then yes that is most definitely a construct of moden neo witchcraft that is of recent times in the past 200 yrs. Heka and all its derivetives and orgins are of nigerian, Babylonian, Mesopotamia snd sumer earth base spiritual practices. The hekan pantheon itself is not only one of cosmic origins as well as ancient neolithic earth and animalism practices ie such as gobekli tepe. Currently the modern and a new spiritual path of the unnamed path would be more closely connected to gay shamans. I dont disagree with your prespectives for any negative attention to myself and your teachings. However I just would like to pass along some information that you may have not taken into account. I normally never comment for I hold the law of to keep silent and listen. If you believe i have made an error I do apologize and would like if you choose to do so discuss more detailed conversation in a more private setting.

The love language quiz doesn't fit me. I'm gay and don't like PDA anyway and even less so because of our discriminatory world. So asking if it means a lot for someone to hold my hand, I can't answer that. It tells the quiz nothing. I love though but PDA for me has always taken AWAY from the sincerity of affection. It's more meaningful without an audience. I also have social anxiety so don't want people staring at me anyway. So all these questions about PDA, they're just not going to tell anyone anything about my love language. Perhaps if I had been straight, I might feel more comfortable doing those things. The one guy I dated, I remember holding hands and feeling fine. It's just not the same experience.
@gayguru

Of course there are many ways to show and experience love that have nothing to do with touch. Time together, words of affirmation, etc. are all powerful ways to express and feel love. In our culture PDAs, particularly among men, are challenging. Your love language, however, didn’t have to be expressed in public. I hope you find love, and someone who makes you feel loved and loving.

As a Yoruba man and an Initiate of IFA, I find this very offensive. IFA is not a religion but a way of life of the Yoruba people, and its message is very clear on same-sex relationships. Please don't bring your thing into this beautiful system of practice. Because IFA can fit into anyone's lives, or religion, doesn't mean it has no rules! It's a guide system (A map of life) for heaven's sake. It's a system that contains everything about how humans interact with their environment. And it does NOT support same-sex relationships. Here's an excerpt from a Babalawo of IFA on homosexuality: "Same gender engaging in sexual relationships can be likened to the smell of a sewer, full of diseases and illness." That's very clear. So please, if you don't fully understand something, don't taint it by claiming to be an expert on IFA. It's an insult to the African way of life!

Most of my information regarding sexuality and Ifa comes from head of my lineage the late Dr. Afolabi Epega, He was Yoruba and fought diligently against what he saw as colonizers values taking over the root beliefs in Ifa. I stand with him and against your homophobic ignorance.

@edmundsishange3608 5 ай бұрын
@bab4tunde keep your nonsense to yourself, I'm an African man too and IFA is not against same sex relationships, it's some of the ignorant priests who impose their own ignorance on the tradition, they don't even know that their homophobic views actually stem from the West, they are totally unAfrican. Before colonization Africa understood those who didn't comform to a specific gender, they understood androgyny as a specific type of energy in the universe without labeling it, labels came with the West, gay, straight etc are all partriachal Western names.

How can we talk about a flame group when there's only 1 twin flame we encounter in our life. We as human beings, have both masculine and feminine energies within ourselves. The idea of the gay twin flame feels to me balancing those energy in our counterpart too who also has both masculine and feminine energies. But at unequal levels. And when we unite our energies just sync or match. The idea that we have a flame group or more twin flames is erroneous in many terms. Think of a candle and when you again and again spark other candles from it it energy lowers down and dims. Just one split into both equal halves serves right !

I found a person sitting next to me on my way to seeing my family over Christmas! I normally don’t trust people with my iPad, but I was having difficulty connecting to the wifi. He offered to help, and I felt very at ease with his assistance. We talked until he got off, the stop before mine, (3 plus hours) and I felt very comfortable with him. Our eyes met several times, during the conversation and locked while we talked. He did seem pre occupied with something though, as he was interrupted several times with some texts. When he got off, he didn’t say goodbye, he just left. So, I am just taking the experience as that. I was able to feel comfortable around someone I found attractive, though not my ideal type. ( I hate that phrase)I know what part of the city he lives in, so if I am ever there, I will look out for him. I will continue to live my life, and do what I need to do, to see what the future has for me. Stay safe, stay sane, stay strong 🏳️‍🌈

I’m a former Roman Catholic Priest, ordained in 1997, left in 1999. I left because of the sexual abuse of children sponsored by the Catholic Church and because after studying theology (I have a master’s degree in the study of theology), I was/am an atheist. Since that time I’ve had numerous interactions with Christians (in the USA as this is where I live). In those experiences never once did I encounter a person who was a Christian (or any other of the 3 mono-theistic faith/belief systems) that wanted to understand or accept folks who are LGBTQIA+. Sure many people of faith were nice, but it was/is always tempered with sentiments of “God loves you……with a BIG IF or with some condition related to that person of faith’s own interpretation of their experience of god. End of day, and after a recent experience where a great niece of mine who was tragically killed (11 years old, died in a car accident), and her parents allowed her service to be held a Christian Church/Bible Based church - where the minister proclaimed that if we didn’t immediately renounce lives of sin, we would go to hell and never get to see her (my great niece again). He also managed to throw in how the “Gays” continue to disrupt the harmony of god’s plan and gays had a contributing influence on “sin” in the world, which results in things like 11 year girls dying in car accidents. This is dangerous thinking and thus I do not believe, based on my 53 years of experience with Christians and my own direct work in the church, that one can be a Christian if the practices of the religious belief system target and identify folks such as myself/LGBTQIA+ as the root cause of all the world’s woes. It’s sick and the more I interact with Christians the more I understand how brainwashed many folks are (most from childhood or at a young/vulnerable time. Christianity has many, many aspects of cultism.
