incredible work sir! would love to learn why this would better than driblling on the move, thoughts?
@lowmanhelp18 күн бұрын
Not better. Just different. Two-ball dribbling is an excellent way for kids to enjoy and get used to dribbling the basketball. I never do any two ball work with professional clients.

This drill aims to learn the habit of lifting your body up and loading it down with the ball. You should not think of this as a “move” but rather learning the movement habit of moving your body in rhythm with the basketball.

Becoming increasingly a taught skill, qhat makes Jokic different is he can feign not seeing it or act as if he is looking for something else. He also utilizes the weakside corner 3/above the break 3 options to hit people for backdoor cuts. Bro is always two steps ahead.

Jamal is such an underrated playmaker and teammate. Plays with poise, makes good reads and in my opinion is one of the best post-entry and PnR players in the league from playing with Jokic --> I've seen such a WIDE variety of ways he feeds the post both in setup, movement, and the passes themselves. Also love that he reads the game on when to take over and when to facilitate and cares primarily about the W. Doesn't often get Ego involved. Plays basketball the right way.
@lowmanhelp3 ай бұрын
Spot on! He might have always done all these things, but playing with Jokic makes you lean into the simple stuff and play with the process. If you don't do those things with Jokic, you don't play. It’s Jokic’s world in Denver. Looking forward to seeing these guys bounce back this year in the playoffs!

Please dont put Jok and Jamal in the same sentence, Jamal is just another Gary Harris, solid G-League player. Imagine if Jordan instead of Pippen had Jamal who shoots 3 of 18 every other game (besides not playing any defence and having IQ75), he could just dream of 6 titles.
@lowmanhelp7 ай бұрын
Thanks for checking out the edit, George! Jamal is a great player, and everyone is subject to bad games occasionally. I would expect a significant response from Jamal in Game 7. Bad game or not, he's still Jokic's two-man game partner, and they're the best in the league (primarily because of Jokic).

Murray is trash 90% of the time.
@lowmanhelp7 ай бұрын
He might be just a little better than that. He is definitely less consistent than Jokic, but he can hit some high points when he gets going. There might be other guys in the league who could play the same role as Murray, but none of them have the chemistry or collective thinking power Murray has with Jokic.
@RehanHussain-pc8xf7 ай бұрын
So if you were defending him, how would you stop him?
@lowmanhelp7 ай бұрын
Pray!! He's on a remarkable run right now, and one thing amplifying it is that the whole team is totally bought into their roles around him as the alpha. It's really about him making and missing shots right now. The Pacers have made the shots more difficult by guarding him with bigger and better athletes. Obviously, if they win this series, there will be a lot of really big and high-level athletes waiting for him in the next round (Jrue, Brown, and White).

The first play analyzed You indicated that he stops and takes a shot there. But that shot was pretty deep. Being meticulous is better most of the time
@lowmanhelp7 ай бұрын
First, thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoyed the video! Everything is in context. That first one, I believe, is a good shot for him if he's in R+B (rhythm + balance) with his footwork and dribble (which he is in that example). It might not be a good shot for everyone, but for AE, it is. Turning down open shots that are in R+B to drive into a compressed defensive shell doesn't usually lead to good things, and turning down this shot leads to a TO for AE. He takes that exact shot four plays later when KD is late on a switch. It's a miss, but it sets the tone for the defense that they must be up at the level in the PnR, which opens up pocket passes to rolling bigs and skip passes (both of which the Wolves got a lot of in Game 2).
