The fact that media does not want Jokić winning, the MVP again is as obvious as the color of mats shirt. The fact that Jokić deserves it is also that obvious.

Payton has a far brighter future than Christian Braun and i trust Watson with catch and shoot more.
@lowmanhelpКүн бұрын
You're betting on a big jump from Watson here. It’s year 3. If it was coming, you should have seen some of the trendlines by now. Unless something drastic changes within his process, I think it would be silly to expect different results than what you see now.
@lowmanhelpКүн бұрын
CB has already set a high floor as a player and he has synergy with Jokic. It would be silly to bet on Watson over CB within this team. But that's just me.
@giorgissvanishvili21 сағат бұрын
@@lowmanhelp Mostly agree, but when Peyton was a starter instead of AG, Jokic-Watson two-man game was the best in the league. By the way, thanks for your quality work. I just found out your channel and the blog.

I always say this. Players today have some of the most famous signature moves from the past in their bag like it’s regular. So of course they’re better. AI crossover to a Jamal Crawford behind the back and then into a Harden step back?? Deadly 😂

Amen yes, Ausar no. There are at least 3-4 times every game where Ausar should cut and he stays glued in the corner. It's incredibly frustrating. Miami staged a fourth quarter comeback a few weeks back by leaving Ausar, knowing he was just going to stay at the three point line. And he did. Detroit's offense melted down. He does have good instincts and feel for working into space but it seems like the coaches don't encourage it so he is hesitant. The best cutting wings are probably Amen, Franz, Sochan and Christian Braun imo.

Great video! Just an unrelated question: how many quality shots do you think you should be making a day as an intermediate basketball player (can dribble well, shoot well, but isn't someone who can score you over 20 points a game in a high school league) to improve significantly in shooting?
@lowmanhelpАй бұрын
The number isn't as important as the quality of work. Not every day should be the same. There will be days where you go heavy on makes and light on movement and days where you go heavy on movement and lighter on makes. The most essential part of improving as a shooter is having a solid routine when walking into the gym. About 40-60 makes that all happen within 15 feet. Locking in your habits and understanding what you are trying to accomplish every time you shoot the ball. The important thing here is not if it goes in but if your habits are always good. Hope that helps!

Jamal is such an underrated playmaker and teammate. Plays with poise, makes good reads and in my opinion is one of the best post-entry and PnR players in the league from playing with Jokic --> I've seen such a WIDE variety of ways he feeds the post both in setup, movement, and the passes themselves. Also love that he reads the game on when to take over and when to facilitate and cares primarily about the W. Doesn't often get Ego involved. Plays basketball the right way.
@lowmanhelp4 ай бұрын
Spot on! He might have always done all these things, but playing with Jokic makes you lean into the simple stuff and play with the process. If you don't do those things with Jokic, you don't play. It’s Jokic’s world in Denver. Looking forward to seeing these guys bounce back this year in the playoffs!

Please dont put Jok and Jamal in the same sentence, Jamal is just another Gary Harris, solid G-League player. Imagine if Jordan instead of Pippen had Jamal who shoots 3 of 18 every other game (besides not playing any defence and having IQ75), he could just dream of 6 titles.
@lowmanhelp8 ай бұрын
Thanks for checking out the edit, George! Jamal is a great player, and everyone is subject to bad games occasionally. I would expect a significant response from Jamal in Game 7. Bad game or not, he's still Jokic's two-man game partner, and they're the best in the league (primarily because of Jokic).

Murray is trash 90% of the time.
@lowmanhelp8 ай бұрын
He might be just a little better than that. He is definitely less consistent than Jokic, but he can hit some high points when he gets going. There might be other guys in the league who could play the same role as Murray, but none of them have the chemistry or collective thinking power Murray has with Jokic.
@RehanHussain-pc8xf8 ай бұрын
So if you were defending him, how would you stop him?
@lowmanhelp8 ай бұрын
Pray!! He's on a remarkable run right now, and one thing amplifying it is that the whole team is totally bought into their roles around him as the alpha. It's really about him making and missing shots right now. The Pacers have made the shots more difficult by guarding him with bigger and better athletes. Obviously, if they win this series, there will be a lot of really big and high-level athletes waiting for him in the next round (Jrue, Brown, and White).
