funny you should say that. i play gtr2 on pc, and have tried rfactor, and i also play gt5 on playstation. none of my family can get into gtr2, telling me it feels nothing like driving a car, yet for them gt5 is like breathing. they all drive their own cars....

Forza 4 was the better game, the more highly reviewed game, the more consistent game, fewer flaws, far better framerate, no screen tearing, quicker load times, better menus, better sound, all cars with accurate cockpits, unlike GT with it's 800 up-rezzed last generation cars with no cockpit. I could go on and on and on.

GT5 and Forza 4 fanboys are both funny, because each think they have the best simulation out there, while in reality both are playing arcade games with nice graphics and very unrealistic physics.

Real driving simulator? Funny. Someone who never drove a real car might believe that one actually. You know, simulatiors arent about graphics, but about physics. GT5 might look realistic, but it doesn't feel realistic while playing, it feels just like an arcade.

They dont handle the same, not even nearly. You cant tell how good or bad the physics is trough a video. Do you see the inputs of the player? Do you feel the feedback from the game? Do you feel what happens when you go over the limit? No...none of it. The fact is, physics in GT5 is poor compared to best PC sims, it simply feels artificial and fake, and detached. You feel like there some lag between your inputs and game.
