"Apples vs. Oranges" I found myself comparing beauty, competing them in my head like scorpions, like dogs. The thought broke my gate like a levee as I helplessly scrambled to defend the one being painted as the lesser. I do not wish to be judged in this way, maybe this is why it is said to "judge not". Should I ever be placed under ridiculous scrutiny such as this I wouldn't hope as I would know my comparable hue. Thoughts come to mind, "better", "best", thoughts that deny our all equaling one, as if good enough wasn't good enough. It is a slick declivity judgement, better left to someone else than me misunderstanding, a polite way of being wrong. ,dan'

26/05/2024: more time in the sun this summer

My anticipation had been building since the live session two weeks ago - that really took me off guard. Another seminal release from Gondwana. A handful of your albums have become my most played in recent times. Hania Rani's Esja, Svanborg Kardyb, Vega Trails, Jasmine Myra's two albums, Hanakiv. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next.
