NEVER use boiling water, always use WARM tap water. It's better to start your engine and turn on the windshield warmer and rear window defrost first, and the WARM water applied liberally will clear your windshield safely and quickly. I've been doing this for 40+ years in Canadian winters and it ALWAYS works fine. Just pay heed to my first words.... NEVER USE BOILING WATER!! That's an idiots trick.

Warm water from the tap is fine. The trick is to keep applying it after the screen is clear in order to warm the area gradually to prevent the screen flash freezing again

Don't touch the snow and ice with your fingers. The cold will affect you more than you think. It's deceiving. And de-icer only works if you use a lot of it. Better just take some extra time in the morning. And park in a way that allows you to leave in 2nd gear whenever possible. Sometimes the ground is frozen and 2nd gear is the only way to get out of your parking spot by yourself.

I completely agree with your #1 and #3. I am more neutral about #2 and #5, but I see your logic. I completely disagree with #4. Let's say you start your business making wooden toy trains for children (just an example) and your business is starting small so you use an online marketplace to sell your products. What is wrong with that??? This sounds very narrow minded and wrong to me honestly. It's not just killing small businesses, but giving extra power to big businesses who already have too much power... Thinking about the damage that it will cause if everybody follows that advice... Wow. How did we get to this point? Things like this hold me back from becoming a member of which. Maybe our values just don't align. As a critical consumer I care about things beyond spending the least amount of money on products. And I don't prefer making my life easy over doing the right thing.

Tech expert, but thinks 8k uses twice as much data than 4k, rather than 4x as much...
@cjshearwood8 күн бұрын
Compression ratios improve with larger images, and streaming content generally uses a constant bitrate to prioritise a consistent stream over maximum quality. A doubling of bitrate for 8k compared to 4k is not only achieveable but already commonplace (for what few services are delivering what little 8k content already exists).

NEVER DISRUPT DRY MOULD!!! You'll couse it to sprinkle mould-spores(something like tiny needles) everywhere and potentially spread which is very toxic when breathing in. You have to first put on PPE then wet it with white vinegar in a spray bottle and leave it for about an hour and then come again and scrub it off. When you're done wash and clean all the surfaces where it fell down, ventilate and let it dry. If there's still discoloration the day after amd everything is dry repeat all of these steps but using bleach this time. Make sure you don't mix the bleach and vinegar and use it on two different days.

cost is the crux of all today's problems In the 50's a fridge cost several wage packets, most people purchased on Terms They were expensive for a reason, they were built as a life long product Now they are a 10 year throwaway product People buy features today not function My Westinghouse from the 50's still works. Keeps beers icy cold even when temps get to 46*C!! The massive door lever is 100% Chrome, must be worth $300.

Remember, supermarkets waste what people do not buy, therefore not worth collecting even if it's free. Olio is run by a mafia, the best dlots are in the hands of very few who keep most of the food.

One thing that is never mentioned is that air fryers draw a lot of current, maybe 8A or more. (240v) So be careful and ensure you are not using other kitchen appliances from the same power socket or there is a danger of overloading and consequently a fire risk, particularly if the air fryer is left unattended. . For example, a kettle draws about 12A a toaster about 4A. In the UK the maximum allowed per socket is 13A, but even 11A can cause overheating if the current draw is prolonged.

Ive recently left a happy review on a houing associations web site , they then called me to ask if i would write a review for them on Trustpilot. I hope they recognise the worry growing around the authenticity of TP , as i do not want the name of the housing people to suddenly find they are marked for lies cos TP turns out to be shite as they are genuinely generally good , it worried me enough to take a look at others points of view about trust pilot and it seems they do not want bad ones though reviews negative are there. Yet seem to be from people that cant spell or write proper sentences and probably a back ground TP can call upon to undermine the persons ability to witness with any authority. Anyway time to see how they go .... Myself i love writeing these things good or bad , i genuinely love letting people know if somethings good or bad

There are four rules of buying "cheap stuff" from China specially: 1. Never buy anything that plugs into the wall, they are inherently unsafe, just matter of time something goes wrong 2. Never buy anything related to memory (like RAM, disks, flash storage etc.), they are 99% scams 3. Never buy anything where safety is number on priority, there are no regulations or tests or concern on safety 4. Never buy anything that goes into your body, again it could be anything, contain anything. Even something like toothpaste could have lead in it. Makeup etc. do go into this category as well. They can contain all kind of toxins. Small parts can easily come off. Just never. Follow these like your life depends on it. Also everything you buy is fake, counterfeit, scam etc. no exceptions. Don't expect anything else and you're fine. In many cases that is just fine. There even is 3 categories: no name product, fake name product, legit unknown name product. The last one usually is the best as they actually put some work on details. The first two can be weird as they are designed to be go past any screening and avoid legal trouble, that kind of tells the whole story. Oh and if it seems too good to be real: It is 100% fake, 100% of the time, you *never* get "good deal". That doesn't exists. Rather think of how much you are willing to pay FOR a fake, badly built thing that just barely works for while.
