The way that man is 'cleaning' the memory foam pillow is completely unhygienic. The bacteria is still contained inside the pillow & he's just adding more to it. If they can't be put in a washing machine, then dry clean or chuck away.

I use microfiber. I put 2 in each case and do another 2 in a case. As a side sleeper, this is firm and high enough. The covers are anti allergy, so it's a win-win after the pillowcase to match the duvet cover is added 😊

I have recently moved to a new place which has smart meters. However, I can not use an in-house display as the actual meters are too far away. In my previous place, I used an Owl meter, which was very accurate and gave me a continuous update on how much electricity I was using. I also kept a spreadsheet into which I entered weekly readings, and my calculations were always spot on. So, for me, it is a worse situation.

Selectively Variable tariffs mean the power company can charge you more for power when you use power at peak times. Approaching a meal time and need to use the cooker, price goes up. Monday Morning and mum wants to to do the laundry, price goes up. Saturday pm and dad wants to watch the football on tv, price goes up. When the adverts come on at the end of the daily soap opera, wow, power costs more for those ten minutes. The changes are variable and are set remotely. The time they happen and the rate of charge is set remotely without your consent to the change. It is not mandatory for the UK Meters to be replaced with 'smart' meters, howerver, suppliers run heavy incentives to get the change to 'Smart meters' done. You know when they are all installed, they can milk you like the idiots some people are. You don't have to be dumb to want a smart meter, that is a sad inclination against actually dumb people.

In the USA, the cost of purchasing and installing smart meters will cost the electric company $600 USD to $800 USD each. Now take a town of 2 million customers and that cost of $1,200,000,000 has to be added to their customers bills. How much infrastructure was improved or extra power was generated for that cost of $1.2 billion dollars? *NOTHING* *WHO TOLD YOU THIS WAS A *GOOD IDEA?*

What to use to whiten the grout? It got yellowish due to my usage of purple shampoos, maybe it would have gotten yellowish even if I had used regular shampoos, the question is what to use to get it white again? Thank you.

It is absurd that duvet covers dont have wider openings in the first place. I have NEVER understood this. It would be so much easier and more logical if it at least zipped ALL the way across at the bottom and even better if it zipped open all the way across the bottom and up one side. I am going to try both of these. I feel like "strenuous" for the fist one is a bit dramatic but I guess I will find out. 🤣

The roll method is great if like me you only have full use of one hand, although these days I have duvet covers with all around zippers. I just unzip the cover , lay the duvet on bottom layer of the cover, pull the top layer straight then do up the zipper

Use the sick dispenser because most of your soap will get washed away in the pre-rinsing cycle that it has
