I don't think i've EVER seen an FCI branded SpectrAlert classic before. Very very neat! Also can't you move the speaker to the right side of the strobe? I've seen the spectralert version in movie theaters, and the speaker was on the right side of the strobe.

Yes you can the strobe can be changed the other way to have the speaker on the right.

My towns former Montgomery wards department store had these speakers throught the store. The former store space was used for vendor events and used them only for music no pages

That's pretty cool! It's blank on both sides, whereas the QuickAlert (those early variants from 1999-2000) is only blank on the left. As a matter of fact I seen a TrueAlert cover plate with no fire lettering.

I like how the KZbin captions say: "e e e e e e" when it's sounding which means it seems like KZbin's captions are starting to get smarter to recognize song lyrics but now it seems like it's starting to recognize fire alarm sounds!

@@CentralVirginiaEAS The newer 2 wire TrueAlerts require a SCM aka Sync Control Module. How Simplex designs this particular device is rather common these days with some Siemens devices the TrueAlerts are "SmartSync" witch is a protocol or feature that syncs all alarms that are TrueAlerts with it. Since of this you can not run a 2 wire TrueAlert with out this module so therefore if you apply power to let's say this exact TrueAlert well... it will not blink nor sound at all when powered. The only thing that does happen is when power is disconnected the strobe will only flash once. If you want to run a "FreeRun" TrueAlert you must get the order types like for example: 4903-9425 4903-9426 & 4903-9427 witch are user friendly. There are white models too however the model numbers I have just listed are the red units. Really in truth if a TrueAlert has 2 terminals it's SmartSync. Hope this explains well!!

Cool! Lately I've been seeing some autocall rebranded simplex devices and it confused me because autocall was bought out by federal signal back in the day. I don't know the whole lore but yeah.

@@TheEASdude0825 Yes if you go to my second recent video you'll see that MFA rebranded SpaceAge strobe plate upload. Well that wire mold and smoke detector that is part of a very small but slightly expanding home system but only for my room nowhere else apart of the house.
