Do this again... but use aircrete instead... much lighter, floats in water...

nice to watch.. An end stop on the drill press would save doing it by eye and create precision .. plus two alternated mortar grooves with the beading would have prevented the squares.. another mould with that pattern halved will solve things though.. good stuff 👍 i know it’s not a production line , just a you tube exercise but if for real thst would be good ❤

Having worked in a sand stone paver and pot factory , several things come to mind . 1 ) cover made product with plastic for curing strength at least 24 hrs before moving . Then stack on a pallet wet down and re plastic cover for a week. 2) the mold should be coated at least with mold oil ,,3) there is water proof additives to add . 4) being sand stone concrete mix these are NOT STRUCTURAL, it would require coarse agitate ,5) life of mold questionable being open timber , try form ply otherwise the bricks will vary over time with mold distortion. Also try using a foundary pneumatic rammer. The sand should be sharp sand and we used triple washed glaziers sand and white cement for a classic look .

I'm sure this was an exercise in "what if I..." but it's good to get your professional input incase anyone wanted to scale this up, which it could be. I wonder how effective that brick system would be with the right materials? The hole through the bricks could be filled with something to provide additional strength. at very least it would make a pretty wall/raised bed. Just needs to be capped off with a suitable tile.

Peeps not understand this design is 100% pointless, you still need mortar and that added thickness will make the 'lego' intersection irrelevant because it lacks depth and will also make the overall strength a major weak point. I've seen really great and useful 'lego' block ideas but made from wood and an insulater and are used to build the frame of a house,, the bricks in this video are basically click bait, looks good but ultimately useless and a waste

I really wish you'd wax the inside of your mold and then use a lower viscosity cement. It would imprint the shape more accurately.

Nesse modelo ai cheio de parafusos não é viável! A produção vai ficar muito lenta e cansativa. Mas o produto final ficou excelênte!

wow well done! To lock to the ground, you can insert pvc pipe or rod. I am thinking of creating a mold using your technique but to look like stone.
