Hi Jeff, Always enjoy the updates!!! What do you use to protect paint when working over fenders (what are the yellow pads on fenders?) and also in general? I see you use a 3M product too. What is the part# of the 3M product? Can you also provide just a general statement on what your shop does to protect paint while working on projects? I've got a 67 Nova I just got back from the body shop and want to be as proactive as I can to protect paint. Typical DIYer in a single car garage. :)

Myself along with my auto classes think part of the mystique of a corvette is the retractable headlights so we vote to keep them.

Nice update, Jeff. Plenty of variety. :)

Imo I say keep the stock headlights or maybe if available a lighter weight option but corvettes are known for pop up lights! Thanks for sharing your projects with us, all very cool to say the least!!

autocross car = plexiglass recessed headlights for this build. Ill stay tuned since I want a pair for my 70 C3 I'm building in my garage to be protouring car. Think 48 hour Corvette headlights with a little less modern style lamp.

Pop-up headlights or, something custom (a late model light that would work with the car's lines). The recessed lights don't look good imo
@mikeletry44683 ай бұрын
Jeff, if you are auto crossing it dump the pop up headlights. While my '64 and '73 have them, this is not original so lose the weight and find a nice pair of looking fixed lights. Maybe research the the cars James Garner use to run when he raced and owned teams and do something similar to that.

Man I wish we’d been able to stop by your shop after we spoke at MCACN this past December - really wanted to see the progress on the Monza firsthand. (Still trying to make that happen) Btw, I’ve got a 30+ year collection of Monza parts just 2 hours from you, so if there are any hard to find items you can’t locate, just reach out. 👍🏻
