I was at this show. One of the few Bands that would stop at Fat Jak's off that I-80 run that were extremely hot shit at the time. They literally brought the L.A. scene wherever they went. Jon Ster was a hero back then to me. I was 18. We hung out in their Council Bluffs motel whenever they came through. Damn. These were the Best of Times!!!

The White House! Yes, my regular Friday night hangout. Saw lots of bands there, but Lillian Axe was my favorite. Saw them down in in Mississippi at the Crazy Horse when I was stationed at Pascagoula. (Yes, Thunders Tavern was my hangout there.). Lillian Axe still in my top 5 favorite list.

So awesome to see this after so many years, I somewhere in the audience that night or playing foosball!

I saw them several times at The Dollar in Lansing Michigan. Great band! Awesome sound engineer.

The quality on this is ridiculously good especially if you consider how old this is. Stiff were so good, you can see why Lillian Axe were as well. Ron with the amazing voice.

Holy flashback!! I remember seeing Stiff countless times at Savvy's in Fort Worth, Texas and Matley's Phase II in Dallas. Still have my Stiff "Straight Up" cassette, which I reviewed for local press.

I met Jon Ster "The Monster" in 2008 when he was the bass player for Manny Charlton Band - Nazareth - (for a short time). I was invited as a guest to be on stage with the band. Funny thing was when I arrived to the venue and settled in a trailer with all the guys, I called my wife to let her know I was there. Jon had the other guys yell to act like there were naked woman sitting on my lap and saying stuff like Get those women off from him..... my wife was like Oh Ok. Jon laughed. At that moment I did not realize who Jon was until later on that day. He called me after I got home. He was checking on me to see if I made it home. Shortly afterwards, I helped him make music videos when he formed Brand New Machine. So sad that Jon passed away in 2014. He passed way too soon
