Even as someone who will be sticking with 75mm duckbills for a few more years, I love to see this. I might even buy a pair just to support them, even though I have no NTN bindings. This seems like the perfect middle ground "do it all" boot. Fingers crossed for a stiffer resort-focused option in the future.

The Scarpa Golden Gate 1 was the best trail shoe of 2023. It has great rebound and good grip. I plan on running 100 miles in the Scarpa Golden Gate 2 this year. If you see them in the store, try them on. They are great shoes.

I tried to follow the video but I cannot remove the screw. It keeps turning but does not come out. Now I cannot even tighten the screw, it just turns loosely without engaging. Disappointed with this boot design.

fellaz I dont have huge calves but the integrated gaiter was super tight around when I was testing them in store.. boots on heavy socks only, no down suit...
