I believe mobile 1, I got the oil change at the dealer, and now I'm gonna start doing it myself, I was changing every 5000 miles, so I will use the oil over 75,000 and change every 15,000 miles,, is that what you recommend? Thank you for replying, I used your you tube and name when I registered with the company, they asked how I found out about the product so I used your info.thanks again great video.

Great video I have the same car I travel all over it has 250,000 miles now with the new oil product, when do we change the oil now? Do we change it at 5000, 10,000 or 25,000? Thank you
@chrisrichardson136624 күн бұрын
Quick question, what oil did you put in your car? Amsoil offers a few options, there is the signature series (25,000 miles), there is Extended Life (20,000 miles), OEM (3-5000 miles), and high mileage for vehicles with greater than 75,000 miles protects for (12,000 miles)

Good video. Just a few tips. If you wet the new oil filter with the used oil you will be less likely to have your oil filter stick next time you do your oil change. For some reason new oil can make it tougher to take your filter off next time. Also if you turn your big oil jug so you are pouring from the side you won't have the oil splash out as the air tries to get into the container. Good video. So many people think its a huge job to change their own oil, but really its just time and a little mess. Easy worth it to save $50.

Nissan Engineers: "Let's put the filter in a spot that's difficult to access and will result in oil going everywhere." Mission accomplished - thanks guys.

For everyone so miffed about the oil filter. These are forced induction, turbo charged grocery getters. First generation for ecoboost. You can't just put the oil filter next to the gas tank door, with it's own door (sarcasm) but seriously there is only so much room considering the turbo uses the same oil system. It's very complicated and it can't just be in your center counsel. It's not that obscured.

I can pass on a tip. Once you get the filter loosened , use one of those zip lock freezer bags over the filter . The oil wont be running all over and if the filter slips in your hand due to the cramped space it falls into the bag. Less ness

It is helpful to have room under the car. But if you can fit under far enough to get to the drain plug. You might not need to jack it up. If you don't and it works, will you let me know?

Good video but personally I would read the owners manual for oil quantity, you read the amount of oil that goes in the A/C system. For ecoboost owners, do not recommend 12k miles or a year between service intervals. 3-5K mile oil changes should be typical for the longevity of the turbo. Otherwise you will be replacing a turbocharger if you do extended oil changes as oil filter and oil manufactures "suggest."
