@@RoadRoyals I use my air powered angle grinder with 3M 2inch discs. Usually 80 grit. Gets the welds down quick, and is easy to handle while being precise. Trust me, I’ve burned through a few times.

Mine has lots of overspray like yours. I had to turn the pressure way down (lower than the clean setting).

When sanding a panel to remove clear coat always use a DA sander with a foam pad. using a hard pad like that can leave waves

At the end of the day all the experts can nit pick but as long as you're happy with a job for your truck, that's all that matters at the end of the day.

Try doing it where the whole rocker is Rusty into the floorboard you just did the outer shell when you got to cut the hole rocker out of another truck clean and you just can't cap it and put a new shell on it that's what really takes to see how good you are

Tac welding, and mig in general is the easiest form of welding, almost no skill required, and the welds will not hold the same as stick welds or Tig welds. Straight red neck shit

How are you sealing the bottom corner? Near where the seat belt hooks to. My son just got the new floor pan, rocker and corner on but there's a couple spots that are wide open. Body lines match, door is straight and space great. Cut and fill in new peices?

$39.99 per gallon verses $23.99 for T6 Rotella. I'm sure the Doc's oil is good, just not sure it's worth an additional $16.00 per gallon good. I'm currently running Doc's filters, seem to be doing well.

Schaeffer is all I run in my duramax and I’m going to give this a shot next. I always run the large PPE oil filter and always use hot shots additive so this being 40 and not 60 a gal I’m already doing better then it has the additive in it already!

@@justinadams159 All the metal work is done on the cab, I have good doors, fenders are prepped, but the bed needs some tlc. Problem is it’s all apart and I only work on it in the winter. There isn’t a part I haven’t blasted and painted, or replaced. Everything is new or looks new.
