Yes it did, not as much of it being eaten and I also added pinwheels which helped even more. This year I did not do this in time, so I cut 1 hosta totally down and after it grew back, I did the vinegar, coffee grounds, pinwheels and planted a few marigolds in front of the hostas. Every time I grow Basil, it is nice and beautiful. But then a purple disease fungus takes over and in no time my Basil is gone. If you get a successful crop out of it, I would like to know how you did it.

Thank you. I thinks so as well. I enjoyed being outside and learning to prep and paint the deck. Thanks to my very knowledgeable husband that told me how to do it. He works full time and me only 2 days a week.
