Cool review. I was recently in New York doing a tour and the guide told us the meeting point was actually the area where the 5 Points Gang from the movie were located

Alien Romulus is a very good movie don't let Prometheus and alien covenant ruin it, it is good for what it is, because the storyline for those two movies is jacked up just watch alien Romulus for entertainment it is a good film

I really like this movie and think it's as good as Raiders of the Lost Ark. The only missing element is that it doesn't have the amazing soundtrack as Indiana Jones' movies.

This is my favorite Godzilla movie, simply because it doesn't add a bunch of side storylines regarding the characters personal lives that have nothing to do with the threat/appearance of a supersized creature in their community. And I also love the sound effects for Godzilla - so iconic!

John, thank you so much for your background. It certainly makes you so much relatable. I admire your persistence. Over 1,300 videos with 580 subscribers is actually impressive. I hope you will keep at it and wish for you the best success. And of course, thank you for your service: You watched these movies, so we don't have to. [Not all the movies are that way, but I can't help admire your list of the worst movies of [pick a year]][!

John, Rogue One is one of the very best Star Wars movies. It was rooted in the reality of what the rebels had to sacrifice to make it possible for the rest of the Star Wars franchise, starting with 1977 Star Wars (which I saw in person in a Cinerama theater). It dealt with people behind the scenes -- people like us, only subjected to extraordinary circumstances. From that standpoint, it was a gem. And the prequel to Rogue One is Andor -- which gives us the very start of what it took to start the rebellion. Again, ordinary people, having to deal with extraordinary circumstances. It was a lot more grounded in a sense of reality with moral and ethical choices that tested the character of the characters. Thank you for the review.

Your review was spot on. I saw it on the Sci-fi channel when it came out. To tell you the truth, online reviews are so much more entertaining than the movie. Ryan O'Neil looks so very old and worn. Bonus: At the start of the movie, he asks his doctor, "How long do I have?". My answer: You may only have decades left to live. The ending was mental mush. And 10 years later, SyFy not learning its lesson, produced Independence Daysaster, which, actually, was a marginally more entertaining -- but still bad. One reviewer gave Epoch a .5 out of 5. Thank you for the review, John.

I’ve got to admit, I thought it was better than Cube 2: Hypercube. Not a fraction as good as the original. And the original original I think it was Japanese that the American version of Cube was a remake of was pretty bad, there was basically no characterisation in that one, it just sucked.

Yeah. Cube Zero was not great. Diminishing returns. Cube is still one of the movies I recommend to people looking for unsung good movies. But I always say it with the caveat "Don't watch any of the sequels" You need to get some BG, bud. A little separation from the curtain.

Wow! while everyone is entitled to their opinion, i couldn't disagree more with you. While very much a product of its time, it still holds up. Apart from the accent thing, its quite well acted. Rickman steals the show especially in the extended version. But 2 out of ten? no way

This was a good movie imo. And to your point about some of the big name actors not having much to say/add to the movie - that's due to the fact that there are TOO many big name actors and the movie would have easily been 3 hours long if each of them had their usual screen time.
