Can you help me figure out why mine and so many others have the tires buckle under when turning? Its a 2013 Polaris outlaw 50. All the forums are full of people with the same problem. I can adjust tie rods and all wheels will be in alignment, but as soon as its turned, the front wheels will be at different angles, and whichever front wheel is on the outside, buckles under. The wheels stay parallel when they are sliggtly turned but in a full turn even with no one on it the outside wheel buckles under whether its a left or a right. Pleaze help. Just spent 1000 on this thing for my 5 year old and it may as well be chinese.

I can post a video on my channel of this if that would help. I ordered new tie rods and 2 ends for each of them. I doubt it's going to help. When sitting still, you can turn the wheels all the way left and right and they stay parallel. If it's moving, the damn outside wheel tries to fold under.

Hey Mate! Thanks for reaching out. The issue you described is a bit an unfortunate known one with these quads. The most likely culprit is the front shocks being too soft. You could try measuring them up and trying to match them with some stiffer shock units from another vehicle. Did anyone on the forums try changing the suspension setup at all? Another thing to check would be the A-arm bushes, as once these wear out (and they do), the steering becomes very sloppy. Hope thats helpful :)

Probably the best money you can spend on your ATV are these twist grip throttles. Heaps easier on your muscles in your hand, wrist & thumb.

Hey Mate! SMC is not a brand we have come across, ourselves (or our suppliers, for that matter). Buying an ATV from a bigger manufacturer would be our suggestion as it will usually make finding spares easier, but, if you have a dealer near you that can support you with spares, you might be all good.

For loose dirt or loam the Maxxis Workzone would be a great choice. You would maybe want to drop the tyre pressure down a little too.
