I just watched this with my cats. They were nonplussed and quite jealous of Oophen’s meals. It’s great relaxation therapy for me, any day…even though I have already watched it 10 times. 😸

Wow! I’ve never seen such an active British Shorthair, but I adopted my BSH girls at midlife, when their person had to go to a nursing home. What an active guy!

So sorry to hear of your loss. 😢. I still miss my BSH girls, Tiger and Chessie, even though it has been years. I have the fortune to have a wonderful flame point male and an adopted BSH mix in my life, today! I hope you find a feline friend again and always keep the happy memories of your beloved Brian. 🕊️ ❤

Yes, what a lucky boy! I could tell my adopted BSH girls were treated like royalty, before their person had to go to a nursing home and they approved of their new subject. I now have a BSH mix, who is queen of the bed. She shows her heritage well. R.I.P. Tiger and Chessie

Him's tail said i hate been brushed and bathed. I make him, mine british boy to jump on pur wc and poo and pee there. He hate whwn we go poop before him and he scratch if he not like wc if she is dirty or when food is one for long time.

Sorry my man, but its very wrong feed him with rare not boiled flesh. Because the body of all animals have parasites. Mine eat when i not put spices. He hate lemon.

He s real big stuff male. I buy one red spotted british shorthair. He is amazing but i think one of him parent is persian. Bcoz he have fur near down part of tail who is curled and long. He not have big face like yours. He eat Felix. I not have money to buy him expensive granules. I feed him with boiled flesh, chicken he hate, pork maybe, he love pork belly, and he eat boiled eggs. So when he was young he eat every week 3 times boiled eggs. We try make him eat only granules and one time in day, breakfast to eat wet food. But he is not feeded well and he wake up us wirh my mum 3 times per night. We not have time to play with him! Help me. How mine one make cheeks lie this amazing creature?

You made my day! My husband's watching tv beside me, so I have no volume on my laptop right now (no sound required for your video)...this is priceless. Your kitty is gorgeous and so playful....so full of personality! He reminds me of my old cat Stormy 'Rip' who was a huge Russian Blue, is Oophen Russian Blue at all, I see a 'tinge' of the blue in his fur. He's precious. Thanks so much for sharing, stunning cat! xoxo💗💗

Blue is the traditional color of the British Shorthair, as well. They also come in blue cream, tabby, and perhaps other patterns. I had a blue cream BSH and a tabby. The blue cream was quite blue, with just a few cream spots, but I’ve seen the classic bicolor tortie pattern on BSHs. I had a Blue Burmese, too…very underrated color, in the U.S.!
