Sounds of my childhood... I love this piece. I grew up in a place similar to the Shire and I remember carrying the inspiration and emotions I got from this game with me out in the blue, going off on my own adventures.

I'm surprised that this does not appear on the Xbox version

Why does the Xbox version have a different soundtrack for Bag End than the Playstation one?

The atmosphere of this song is amazing, you can feel the darkness and the fear of black riders chasing you.

Comparing to ringwraiths, The Seekers in Gothic 2 were terrifying as well. Roaming the countryside in those black robes. And their voice is even more chilling: " There he is". Sends chill down your spine...

Cool. The music wont stop when the dialogues come out. You can talk for the folks of Hobbiton for example and still hear the tunes.

What's really sad is that this composer primarily only did 2 games, this being the latter one, and he's pretty much disappeared from composing music altogether since.. I absolutely loved his previous musical score and this one is very strong as well, so he really could've become one of the greats.

Have to admit it was an awesome mini game with the soundtrack setting just the right atmosphere, still haunts me to this day!

Fun fact: this moment made me quit the game for years as a kid 😅
