I went to watch a tonsillectomy in my rotation and as the blood pours out i felt nauseous and was about to faint later i ate something came back and everything was fine now about to see a c section donot want to embarrass my self in front of my colleagues 😅

Candy Stripers were one way to get exposure to working in a hospital before taking the leap into nursing school or hospital training. Today it sounds like many nurses burn out and leave the profession after getting a dose of the real deal. Best wishes and good luck!

Is There Any Cardiac ICU Training Program Available For New Grade RNs??

Typically the programs are a 3-6 month program through the hospital you get hired at. I went to 1 4hr class per week when I first started. The classes included trauma patients, ekgs, ACLS, chest tubes, IO placement, CRRT, etc. But if there are outside resources I’ll look into it and try to reply to you again in the future! 🤗

In my area you can definitely live comfortably as a RN even LPN but you won't be "rich". However, if you hate nursing and do it only for money you will be unhappy.
