Cathodic protection is so useful in so many different situations as you list in one of your graphics. However, One of the most problematic items for rust is cars. I didn’t see that on your list. I don’t understand why cathode protection isn’t used for cars all over the place. Is it just not feasible? Can it be added on aftermarket? I understand automakers not wanting to put it in because they make money by making disposable cars that corrode. Thanks for a great presentation.

The anodes are a consumable. At the the end of useful life they are replaced.
