3:21 FSD has no idea what km/h or mph are. It just sees the road and drives as it learned as safe behavior. If it drives too fast there's an easy fix: Disable that you want it speed. You enabled the "speed always please" function called "automatic maxspeed offset". That's why it's speeding.
@FSDCanadaMtl12 сағат бұрын
It doesn't always adjust up. It also adjusts down depending the the situation and road condition. I have tried taking auto speed setting off and it doesn't make accelerations better anyways.
@RubenKelevra6 сағат бұрын
@@FSDCanadaMtl nope, it never adjusts down, regardless of the situation. Tesla also nowhere stated that it does this. And why do you think it would have an impact on accelerations? I never said that. You complained about the car speeding, and have the function on which tells the car to speed. D'oh!

Turning behavior still needs work. I decided not to intervene on a left turn onto an empty road except for one oncoming car and instead of waiting it YOLOed it and pissed off the other car. Got honked at and tailed for the next 10 miles.

Not a huge problem but speeding up boring parts is always better than cutting them out completely, some channels were way too generous to the previous versions of FSD by doing this exact thing (cutting out bad driving as well as boring parts)

The flickering stoplights at 8:00 min is due to the sun interfering with front cameras. I would presume that the in car logic says that all lights need be green for a while simultaneously before go. Then when all went green and the car didnt go for you, a good guess would be that the car went into silent safety mode and needed a push. The sun is the ultimate show stopper for vision only. Also the speed bumps, either Tesla will by mapping know where speed bumps are or they read roadside signs or road markings. Hower there is no real all over used standard for road or roadside markings for bumps so it is really hard to solve. Vision system for real are comletely useless of detecting a bump, even if the bump has some kind of contrast, a same colour asphalt bump is virtually impossible to see with cameras. And also differentiating a dark spot of asphalt repair from a hole with vision, forget it it cannot be done. Only lidar and radar can do this. So potholes will keep being runned over. What you do looking for holes in an industrial enviromnent with vision is putting a line laser across. and when the vision system sees the line break, there is a hole. Otherwise it is jiust a dark spot. Of course devoting a tremendous amount of training on an AI might improve the detection rate, or just by a radar for 30 dollars and be done with that problem. Tesla can call mercedes and ask about their bump adaptive shocks that is by now 15 year old tech.
