I did not know you didn’t need to top coat it, I can’t wait to try it again!

Thank you so much! I’m trying to learn to do my own nails along with my family and friends nails for free and to save myself some money. But btw just a question as a beginner Can I use builder gel to make my own charms? Or would it not be strong enough?

Nah, Many nail salons created that French line the exact same way, using the same tools back in the day or used air brush. The only difference is the option to use paint & shape of the smile line. This is No excuse😂😂

The last time I went to the salon for a full set of acrylic with nail polish (LOL) it was $25. I’ve probably spent $5K on buying stuff to do them myself. After 4 years my left hand looks great!

I actually do not like doing french nails for clients. It looks simple and with all the short vids showing guides lines hack etc, makes it looks quick and easy, but it's not fun to do because how precise you need to be. If it's slightly off, it looks bad and very noticable and will need to redo till it's prefect.

Girl me too !!! The French manicure is the most heinous thing you can ask of your nail tech!! 😂😂😂 fr though😶

That’s a reasonable price. Especially for hand painted labor.

Genuinely beautiful work. And people forget that the actual time and effort going in is part of the price as well. It takes effort to make something look so clean and simple, even if it does turn out simple!

If they ask for $5 french, I give them $5 french 😂 it’s like they forget to bring common sense with them on nails day

This! I went to a fancy salon (they literally had a wine bar) and tell me why my gel x manicure was so bad I had to remove one nail at home bc it was sized incorrectly and cut into the side of my nail bed!!!!

Enthusiast here.....I have been doing my own nails since the 80's. I LOVE doing acrylics because it's a challenge, and because the end result is much harder than gel nails. Either way I love doing nails. I can't do artwork like Tino Vo, but I sure can build a beautiful nail! Thanks Nail Dad! Looking forward to your next video!

If you use rhinestone glue you'll get the same effect but your rhinestone will hold longer & more securely and then just put a glossy top coat on..

I'm old school....not licensed....just an enthusiast. I have never talked down to any other nail person.....change is a good thing! Techniques and products are always changing and I have no problem with that, in fact, I get really excited because I then challenge myself to perfect my techniques! I think we should all be encouraging other techs and being supportive of one another......we all love this profession...that's why we do it!

Just an enthusiast working on myself but paid for an enthusiast course to learn about product, sanitation and nail anatomy. I wanted to learn everything I could about my new (at the time) hobby so I didn’t hurt myself. I was a natural long nail grower my whole life. It saw the see through designs and fell in love. I’ve watched hundreds of thousands of hours of videos. Not sure if I want it as a career and taking care of my mom prevents that at the moment anyway. Going on year 4 and get compliments on my nails everywhere I go. As a former dance school owner I know all about the benefits of repetition for learning and even when I didn’t understand something right off the bat I’d watch it later and the more I watched the clearer things became.

Ever since I found your channel and know of your work I always thought ahhh if only nail dad can one day do a set for me and I'm the type that love design and stuff I use to go to a specific salon and only have my favorite guy aka the owner or his wife to do mine I'm picky but not that picky. I always have a picture I want of the idea I'm trying to go for each time I go lol good luck on your journey back in a salon again.
