Indeed it is a masterpiece, whether you push through the steep learning curve or not. You don't have to have finished it, like I have, or even like it, like I don't, to appreciate it's art, simplicity, tight controls, and incredibly precise game design. That's the point.

I think people don't know what review bomb is and what a review is. People reviewed the game DLC after playing it, review bomb is what Helldivers 2 experienced. Review bombing happens usually when an outside force influences the review of a game/ show whatever. And usually when people say, ohh this show/game was review bombed, it implies that the reviews are not genuine.

Review bombing can mean an insincere group trying to dunk on something with negative reviews for illegitimate reasons... so, yeah exactly like in this case. Obviously some are genuine like the performance complaints, but reviews that say, "hard game is hard or unfair" and they are playing a Fromsoftware game, I'd say that's insincere.

@@charlesqbanks These are completely genuine reviews, and this is not by any means a review bomb. Reviewing means to give your experience about the game, if it enjoyable if its good or bad, if it has good graphics or not whatever it doesn't have to be only performance. Saying the game is too hard and i don't recommend it is completely legit. That's what a Steam review is. The experience of a player. Not only that but all these players who play the DLC have finished Elden Ring and possibly Malenia, these aren't new players, these could be long fans of From Software, if you read some of these reviews, they state so. If you don't agree with their view point that is fine.
