In terms of DPS class yea probably, self-sustaining with temp health & ammo efficiency. PDW has masking perk now, so you have at least one option to get out of tricky situations. Though masking Exterminator is a strong contender as well, masking removes aggro which gives you time & space to focus on the horde during swarm sections.

So I tried it today and got it the first time even though I had 0 perks unlocked on Revolver x) Things I did : I put the Medic boost so it gives it 50% dmg boost, and did most kills w/ silenced repeating rifle + I put bots just to try and got no dmg either, so it seems that now you can actually get bots in

Nice! Yeah, they fixed the bots so now they don't deal damage to you anymore.

@xD3viLz Yeah that's nice, I wasn't fully confident in being able to make it solo as I have like 25h on the game, but I ended up being solo for like 9/10th of the last horde so I think it went great, and having your exemple and guide defo helped so ty for that !

Yeah, you can manipulate the crate spawns to some extent as well to give Tier 3s. Based on my attempts it is possible, but you'll grids & explosive heavies for the first defence, and good RNG against zeke infections. Here's my attempt with the T2 shotgun - kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5nNh6hpnL2rqZY. Managed to get through the first and second defence, but the silent lurker sort of messed things up. Though with the T2 shotgun it is kinda challenging trying to defend the cutter due to low firing rate and zekes from different directions. So, definitely possible but would require multiple attempts until you get good RNG in the different sections.

I'm using Custom Barrel on the multi-barrel to increase the accuracy - this reduces the bullet spread. You can opt for accuracy perks on the other shotguns as well.

I don't know if it is still a thing, but iirc Fixer should have a perk Power Shot? Should be able to keep penetration while using explosive. Don't quote me though. Mitigates a little bit of the problem there.

Yeah, you're right, it works fine for Fixer class. Though for others like Gunslinger which relies on weapon penetration + headshots it can hinder a little.

Thanks! You mean the reload cancel for the Tier 3 shotgun? Usually, I use melee once the reload bar is at ~50%.

Yeah, not sure why they are being quite secretive about the weapon stats. Though luckily the game is fairly straightforward so there's not a lot of breakpoints for us to mix-max the game.

To make the run more challenging. I downed the bots so that I can deal with a 4-man swarm alone, since the horde/swarm size generally scales according to the number of bots/players in the game.

It is the PDW "ghost" perk - after you get hit, get a headshot kill within 15 seconds to proc a masking effect for 5 seconds. Very useful for disinfecting on Extinction.

I COMPLETED THE GAME ALONE WITH 100 PERCENT SUCCESS AND FOR WHAT I DID NOT SEE ANYONE WHO PLAYS ZOMBIE GAMES PROPERLY I COMPLETED ALL THE GAMES ALONE AND I HAD A LOT OF FUN THIS IS THE REAL HUNTER GAME I AM WAITING FOR DEAD ISLAND 3 OR DEAD ISLAND 2 IS THE NEW COMING THERE IS A DLC AND IT EXCITS ME BOTH. THIS GAME IS A HUNTER CLASS GAME.

The main ones are to know the mission objectives & zeke spawn points since that will dictate your positioning. Also, it helps to have a level 30 class and upgraded weapons.

Before I played online, I played a lot of runs offline (online private also works) in order to grind levels in Marseille 2. You just stealth your way through until the section past the elevator, where you're supposed to kill your team and yourself to finish the run. This is always done in Extreme to net 640 gold coins per run. Sometimes I would try pushing until the end of the mission and a few times I actually finished the mission on Extreme successfully, despite not being a very good player. I guess the moral of the story here is that because I became extremely familiar with Marseille 2, I managed to pull off a solo run (with bots) a few times. It helps greatly to become familiar with maps so you'll learn when the hordes come, lurker spawns, breaching kit/bag spawn points and the like. Of course maxing your class and your weapons also helps a lot.

Oh okay, NY4 can be tricky. Have a look at this previous run (kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2mUf5-hqdOglassi=_K9ymgnkr8JCdywt) there's some tricks in the final area that you can exploit to make it easier.

Hellraiser Fire-Thumper Build Overview: Class Perks: 243 321 422 Tier 2 Shotgun: Eagle scout, bounty hunter, extended mag Thumper: Incendiary grenades, fine motor skills 1, ammo pouches The Hellraiser shotgun fire thumper build is really effective for crowd control since the fire thumper basically blocks off a pathway, allowing you to cover flanks easily. The downside is you can't kill specials quickly as compared to the MGL build. Also, thumper uses ammo crates quickly which can be a problem in solo runs. So we are compensating for it by using free refill + gas C4 since the gas kills also procs free refill to give you primary ammo back - the last I checked on Extreme the gas kills ~40 and C4 explosion kills ~15 which will give you a lot of ammo back. And the ammo crates are primarily used to refill thumper.
