Just used the henna and indigo on my micro locs for the first time to darken my sun bleached hair and I’m really excited about the results! I’m going to try doing two rounds of indigo next time to get to blue black hair!

Hi Khadija. You said in the end of the video that to get blue black hair we have to repeat the henna mixed with indigo step followed by indigo consistently for a few times. However, This surely does not apply to stubborn white/greys? Doesn't the 2 step process work for that better? I tried a mix of indigo and henna and my white roots did not dye, however the rest of the hair did turn into a dark brown...Please advise how to get the blue black effect accordingly..

@@thewhitewitch895 it’s definitely going to be several applications. Same for greys but honestly probably more applications to have them catch up as darker hair strands will get blue black quicker. Your greys didn’t color at all? Not even reddish ? Hope this helps.

I have waist-length locs & have only used henna to dye them but I have to say HennaSooq Henna & Indigo made them more vibrant and stronger. The indigo is sooo beautiful, I have been pleased with the results for a dark to black tone. There isn't enough reliable info regarding henna specifically on locs, Thank You!!

Henna can sometimes fade over time as does any type of dye (weather and elements cause this or heat over time) and it also grows out so it’ll eventually come out on its own fully over time. Henna hair dye lasts 4-6 weeks but depends on hair growth. People choose henna hair dye as they do not want to use chemicals so this is a true natural alternative. Plz do recommend something for severe hair loss. As I have shifted to canada since than I amm loosing hair. I have tried onion juice, casteroil, rosemary , methidana, nothing worked. Even taking vir d3, b12, iron. But nothing worked. Plz do reply

Yes for our henna usually 3-4 hours, and for moroccan henna that we carry 1-2 hours.

Hello! Katam can work if you’re able to source some. It’s not as strong as indigo and definitely patch tests against allergies. We don't carry it because we can't get it from Yemen due to the war.

What effect does cassia have on your hair,.. what does it do either alone or in combination with Henna?

cassia is usually cleansing. Cassia also is good for depositing a light golden tone, some more then for others. Cassia is used to manipulate the color of henna usually. Otherwise for a treatment along, usually cleansing and helps with the scalp health

I LIVE IN BEAVERTON OREGON IN A VETERAN TRANSITION HOIUSING WHEN I MOVED HERE MY HAIR WAS A COUPLE INCHEZ FROM TAILBONE. THE WATER HERE IS EXTREMELY HARD AS A MATTER OF FACT IT WASNT THAT BAD WHEN I FIRST MOVED HERE UNTIL I CHANGED THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING I LIVE ON. WITHIN SIX MONTHS EVEN AFTER DOING CLAY ANX HENNA AND DEEP CONDITIONING I LOST 50,%OF MY LENGTH AND A HECK OF A LOT OF DENSITY I AM SO ANGRY I BLAMED MYSELF I HAD BLOOD WORK DONE I MEAN A FULL WORK UP AND NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY BLOOD BESIDES INFLAMMATION BUT THIS WAS FROM A FIBROID OF WHICH I RECENTLY HAD REMOVED. I BOUGHT A WATER TEST KIT THE SINK WATER SMELLS BLEACHY AND THE WATER FROM THE SHOWER IS EXTREMLY PASSED HARD AND SO IS THE SINK I STOPPEX USING BOTH OF THE WATERS AND ALL THAT WORK ON MY HAIR ,😢😢😢 DAMAGED MAJORLY I HAD TO CUT MANY AREAS IT IS VERY UNEVEN BUT MY HElALTH OF MY HAIR IS BACK!!! I DONT USE MIELLE I NEVER TRUSTED THE BRAND I MAKE MY OWN PRODUCTS AND MY ANCESTORS ARE HAPPY AGAIN!!❤❤

Achieving a teal color with natural henna and without chemicals is indeed challenging because henna itself imparts a reddish-orange dye, and it does not naturally produce blue or green hues.

Hello! It's best to wait at least 24 to 48 hours before shampooing your hair after applying indigo. This waiting period allows the indigo dye to fully oxidize and set in your hair, ensuring a deeper and more lasting color.
