Now the hot song is “Who” by Jimin (one of the members), it’s #1 globally and #3 in the US on Spotify right now, so listen if you like it. But I also advise you to listen to their older discography, for example “On” and “Blood, Sweat & Tears” were my first songs (and “On is a new song, a lot of the songs you like are older) and love them to this day, I think you like R’n’B so in the older days they had a lot of that and more hiphop than now. The Korean system is hard on young people and they protested against it, almost all songs are written by the rap line or at least they contribute to it in later years (for ex. Dynamite or Butter didn’t have any meaning, they were just for people in COVID to cheer up), but most songs have a lot of deeper meanings (the leader, RM, wanted to be either a rapper or a poet, so the lyrics are often hard to understand how deep they are… Sorry for the rant😂😂

BTS has songs for every music taste, the only thing all of them have in common is that they’re GOOD ❤️‍🔥 Are you an ARMY yet? 😉 Because the steps for me (and a lot of ARMYs) were: 1. Hear one song accidentally 2. Watch a MV 3. Watch another MV and a video of them (either interview or a fan made compilation of funny moments) 4. Decide to learn their names That’s it, the last step. I don’t know anyone who decided to learn their names and didn’t become an ARMY 😂😂💜💜

all of the members over the almost last two years have been fulfilling their military commitment and so BTS hasn't been making music as a group. However, they all did solo projects that have been released while they've had downtime as a group and they all have fantastic stuff out and show their different music to offer. Can't wait for them to come back in 2025 after they've all explored their own thing. They will be unstoppable.

one thing they do is have multiple videos for certain songs. None will disappoint, but they all give a different vibe

they're so diverse it's hard to not explore more. you have to watch at least these... ON Manifesto, fire, mic drop, DNA, black swan and Idol. Too many more to list, but this will give you an idea of their versatility and talent.

Halsey is close with all of the members but she and SUGA have done a couple of songs together: “Suga’s Interlude” (that they finally performed together live during his tour stop in LA last year) and a remix of Halsey’s song “Lilith” for the recent Diablo IV video game release (they did do an MV for it that you could react to). She considers them “uncles” to her little boy, Ender. I found BTS at the beginning of 2020 as they were promoting their album Map of the Soul:7 with the title track, “ON” and I highly recommend their MV, “ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Primo.” It started me looking me into their music, then I watched “Mic Drop,” several other songs, and their performance at Grand Central Station on Jimmy Fallon, SUGA dropped his album D-2 in May 2020 and I was locked in for life. 💜 Since July 2022, the members of the group have been releasing individual music as they serve their mandatory military service in South Korea. The oldest member, Jin, just completed his time and was discharged this past June. Next to be discharged is j-hope in October. The remaining members will complete their service next June. ARMY is counting the days for them to be a group of 7 once again,though we have been supporting all the individual album releases. Jimin just dropped his second album last week called MUSE (it was recorded before he went into the military in December). We are anticipating an album from Jin by the end of the year as he was the only member unable to release one prior to entering the military.
