As Rey Mendoza says, as far as he knows, this is the only video of a Beatle performing this song. From what I read, Paul remembers kind of 'jamming' with John until ultimately getting this song down. We hear John's 'voice' in lyrics like "can't get no worse" and, of course, optimistic Paul's voice in "It's getting better all the time." I suppose John could've performed this song live during his solo career, but I think it was too 'upbeat' and 'poppy' for him to do live by then?

One of Paul's upbeat and optimistic numbers off Sgt. Pepper. I always felt his songs on SP were the more down to earth and accessible to most people. Where-as John was writing more about his daydreaming experiences in psychedelia and other drug influences, Paul was singing about Life, improving yourself, freeing your head to be more open and also about losing love and lonliness and growing old and yes..about that damned meter-maid who gave him a ticket!

The guitar Paul is playing? It's a 1960 Les Paul Standard - they were only made for 3 years from 1958-1960 and they are UNBELIEVABLY collectable. Gibson only made 1500 in total. They're like the Straddivarius of electric guitars. But wait for it - Paul's playing a left handed version. Just 5 "leftys" were made. And he plays it live. If you're a guitar nerd that is so incalculably awesome.
