For people who worry about PoE2´s effect on D4, just dont. It's two completely different types of entertainment. PoE2 is very difficult and unforgiving. It takes a long time to get anywhere. Its very good and fun (for me) but Diablo offers another type of fun and relaxation that appeals to some people a lot more. To mow down mobs with impunity and listen to your favourite music is something you just dont do in PoE2, its more a diablo thing. And besides, PoE2 does not have the almighty "i look like i sleep under a bridge" fatty that i love, the druid. Well not yet anyway. So relax, play whatever suits you and dont get entangled in this hate/love war that so many seem to focus on right now. Cheers for reading!

Most of the meta gear is obtainable pretty easily. Archboss is grindy af. But otherwise if you spend a few hours either token burning in appropriate dungeon or grind tier 2 you can get everything you need.

Not a bad take. Blizz created the best formula and standards for the arpg genre with Diablo, so they own it. POE was based at Diablo 2 and Titan Quest (research it). Nowadays, people make a lot of mistakes when evaluating whether or not a game is like Diablo and what ARPG means. Some people think that an MMO is an ARPG, others that an adventure RPG like Witcher is an ARPG, or "Oh! This game has an isometric view, it is like Diablo! An ARPG!". The lack of criteria nowadays it's gigantic

I will be ignoring these for the most part, because I hate the mechanic. To max them all, you pretty much need to have resists on all of your equipment, which limits your options massively, and I can't think of a more boring bonus to have on a piece of equipment. I find it mind boggling that they seem to make them so extremely important, especially since they also claim that their development philosophy is that "if you *have* to skill in a specific way, it should be baseline instead", so even though everyone keeps saying that capping on resistances is mandatory, I'll believe it when I see it. I am in the middle of Act 6 right now, and so far, I am doing quite well with all resistances being around zero to 20%. Once I'll make it to mapping, I am quite curious how I will fare. Statistically speaking it is of course most likely that what literally everyone says is true, but still. I guess I don't want to believe it. 😅 I am also strength stacking on my Gemling Legionnaire, so even at just level 60, I am already at 3200 health, so maybe I'll get around taking four times more damage than necessary, by eventually having just four times more health than the average player at that point. 😂 But yeah, thanks for the information. I'll keep it in mind and will make adjustments, if it's unavoidable. 🤔

What I can’t figure out is why in my case I can equip a piece of gear that states +9 to all and after I equip it all my resists go up by 9 EXCEPT Chaos. Why is Chaos not included? Maybe it’s a bug or I’m crazy as shit

100% plz if anyone is new to the game, this has to be STATED with importance. I am new to path of exile franchise and from BDO/TNL, and i came in thinking the resistance was for debuffs and just lowering their effects, NOT damage mitigation from mobs. I am a 90% lv 80 Ranger with 1300 Health and 1 shotting mobs. But for some reason, in maps no matter if it was T1 or T10 I was getting 1 shot constantly and it was infuriating. It wasn't until i took a huge leap of faith in regearing my character with Resistances that I then realized my mistake. Now sitting at 70% resistances I can comfortably do T12+ maps with out much issues.

I did with low level.. Make a camp close, put a lot of fire pals inside build a wall to protect you, and keep changing your dead palmons, attract him, and thats all. Just catch a lot fire pals
