I think 2 twin beds, extra long, is the same as a king. There's a lot to be said for sleeping in separate beds. Kind of like the movies and TV shows from the 50s and 60s. Put a nightstand in between and there you go.

Thanks for this. I feel just as relaxed as you did. I'm older than you guys but my wife (50s) and our friends are just getting back into these kinds of vacations now that our kids are just about grown. I have been to St Thomas a couple of times but after cruises and Disney vacations this kind of vacation is just what I need! The last time we had a vacation this relaxing was on Maui and Aruba back before kids. Thanks again for dropping names of locations. I definitely want to check out the Windmill Bar, and Trunks and Maho and Cinnamon bays.

Welp I'm here AFTER watching the Yo vlog. The shoe situation may have been better if you "broke them in" putting some miles on them beforehand. I got a gnarly blister on that exact toe spot, too. Did y'all go to REI or any physical stores to trial supplies? Anyway, cool idea to vlog the pregame. Glad bf got time off to enjoy nature and you helped make it happen!

I went just a couple weeks after y'all for the first time and enjoyed the Stoneman Cottages at Curry Village which I highly recommend on your next visit. I did the same Glacier Point hike but in the opposite direction so I could see it at sunset. Some nice hikers drove me back down to the valley. Buffet was pricey... I mostly ate at Curry Village and at Mountain Room. Still, the cooked meals looked yummy. Cheers!
