Thank you for posting this! As a 65+ athlete, I appreciate actually being able to see these guys. You did so much better than the CF live feed and good commentary too!

Men and Women who are over 65 who are willing to "embrace the suck" and get out and put in the work are an inspiration to all of us to get off the couch and move!

This was such a great video. I just started a program with all walks in it and was like are you kidding me.... I haven't even attempted them yet and modified with another movement. I wasn't willing to risk injury to an already sensitive area. I'll start today!

It depends upon several factors including your comfort being upside down, core and arm strength, and confidence. The main thing is to start small and work your way up a tiny bit at a time as YOU are comfortable with the movement.

I don't know how come this video has so few likes. After watching plenty of tutorials, I found this one step-by-step demonstration one of the most useful. Definitely gonna use it during my training. Short, clear, very helpful!

I’ve been doing three 60 sec sets per day of a 60 degree handstand against the wall for the past 7 days, but really having difficulty walking back to the wall on my hands. They just won’t seem to hold my weight one arm at a time. My traps, shoulders and triceps are strong, I think it is my serratus anterior that’s not doing it’s part. So, I’m working on scapular stabilization and push-ups plus and the elevated feet shoulder touches. Any other suggestions?

Modest suggestion from a newbie: Perhaps focusing on keeping the core tight and maintaining a hollow body position at all timew might also help ?
@Crossfit-odyssey
@Crossfit-odyssey 2 жыл бұрын
Practice shifting your weight hand to hand - small amounts at first then picking up one hand at a time, then progress to shoulder taps. Also practice in a plank position and focus on solid core and HOLLOW BODY - tuck that tailbone!
