7 year bitch..maybe there ain't no girls in Guitar World, but if anybody at the magazine still works from anyplace but home, they see there should be a girl in Guitar World, she sang about it, but in keeping pace with the rest of the place, nobody goes to work anymore either, and why should they when they don't even go & still get paid for something? I've tried over the years to get some of my friends on occasion, to listen to something a little bit, not the exact same songs over and again, like unmanned radio stations. I love all kinds of bands & music with a twist off of main street USA, top pop, over & over until it is leaking out of your coffee cup. None of my friends really liked what I did, ie; Tom Waits, the grainy sounds he does, I'm not much on his slow side even though most are known world wide, only they've never heard of him, he's been in more movies than (name any Hollywood star, Tom waits can out do them, sing like an angel, maybe a "HELLS"Version, who's getting picky? Point is, he is a definition of real talent, as is Jessie, only nobody takes the time to hear it on their own, they need to be told before hand, then they start using first name only because now, they fit with the rest of the sheep who jump up and down at the mention of a band like (watch it now. "Journey", am I theonly personnel the world that Houghton everything they ever did, sounded just like the last song they put out, or the new band everybody loves, now, because they went to the same store to buy clothes as the new band did? ( yes, I get sick of monkey see, or listen in this case, monkey do, if they aren't already talking about a concert combining to town by "journey" And THAT is why bands like Those Darlin's never get a fair shake, then an artist as beautiful & talented as she was, that goes from Niki, & the other girl, who I loved as much, her voice is.. I can't even say enough good things about her sound, it was sad to know that whatever it was to cause the separation of them, must have been i.portant enough to them, that it happened, so did cancer, I went a few rounds myself, but I never could sing, still can't, but I sure as he'll know when somebody else can, Jessie was shredding that Guitar with every bit of her heart as she was using a pick!
