I don’t think so. There are plenty of red fin and carp. I have also heard of brown trout. Pejar dam has brown and rainbow trout and Australian bass.

@ ah very nice! I’m in west Aus but half my family is in charters towers, my eastern fishing knowledge is non existent I just remember catching a heap of big sleepy cod last time I visited 👍

It’s a bit cold here for sleepy cod. Charters towers is definitely more to their liking.

Yes there are plenty of bird noises there. It had been awhile since my last fish but there will be plenty more coming up.
