What if your cob has mallanders and alfalfa is not recommended
@DengieHorseFeeds
@DengieHorseFeeds Жыл бұрын
Although there is often talk (particularly on social media) of biotin or alfalfa making mallanders worse, there is actually no scientific evidence which supports this. Mallanders and sallanders is linked to current or historic mites issues which are more common in feathered breeds. More information on mallanders can be found in the following article on our website: dengie.com/news-articles/feed-advice/feather-mites-and-their-link-to-mallanders-and-sallanders-in-horses/

but what is the cause? Isn't it ultimately sugar? The practice of giving horses grain, which raises insulin and then inflammation, stress, cortisol, etc. . . we still need to get to the root causes of these things, given that wild horses don't seem to get these conditions.

Hi Raymond, Thank you for your comment, we hope you enjoyed the webinar. Unfortunately due to price increases in raw materials over the years, there have been occasions where we too have had to increase the RRP for Fresh Bed. When possible we do absorb these price increases, however I’m sure you can appreciate it that we are unable to do this each time. We hope your hens continue to enjoy Fresh Bed, and should you have any questions following the webinar, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the relevant company, we’ve listed the contact details below for you. Dengie Fresh Bed for Chickens: Call 01621 841188 or email [email protected] British Hen Welfare Trust: Call 01884 860084 or email [email protected] Smallholder Range: Call 01362 822902 or email [email protected]

Hi, it is a very useful video, I learned a lot from it, thank you! I have a few social media channels in China and I’m collecting these professional and educational videos about horses from the Internet. Would you mind if I translate your videos to Chinese and upload it on Chinese social media to teach people beyond the sea who love horses how to take care of horses in a better way? I need to keep my channel running so if you didn’t notice this message in 3 days, I will upload the translated video on my channels. But don’t worry, when you see this and you disagree with it, feel free to message me back or email me ([email protected]). I will delete it as soon as possible. Hope you are well at this time, and no matter what decision you make, I still learned a lot from your video and thank you!

please do some more work in the field of keeping sheep and cattle (even pig and poultry feeding) in the regenerative agriculture field - more and more of us want to have UK grass feeding but cannot raise all the feed ourselves ... it would be great to have ingredients that avoid the use of soy and other grains.

Dear Sir/Madam. I am just looking at your website regarding Alfa-A Original for £13.52+ £4.99 delivery, but you fail to specify how big the bag is ; how big is the bag? Please could you tell me. I don't have a horse, but I need some Alfalfa meal for my crop-beds. I'm guessing that it is 1kg, from the term 10MJ/kg, but might not be 1kg ; I don't know. I need 14·33 litres. Don't you just love the pictures of the cute foals and younglings on your website!? lol. Beautiful animals. Thank you for your time. Andrew.
