I'd like to see some of the 323 EMU sets preserved. They are iconic trains and still have plenty of life left in them.
@terrier_productions3 ай бұрын
Every class deserves at least one member being preserved however due to them being electric, they will only be preserved with the intention of being on static display in a museum or doing railtours on the national network..
@joelightrailway23623 ай бұрын
Sad these units are going, I do hope the one in regional railways livery will be preserved. Excellent video 👍
@terrier_productions3 ай бұрын
There is a rumour that these sets will be sold to Northern Trains as they also have Class 323s. TBH, whilst I would love to see a 323 enter preservation (which I guess is likely), I doubt that 323221 will be preserved soley because of her current livery as all members of the class wore that livery in the 90s. Thanks for Watching

It was amazing! These types of experiences are limited to 18 due to insurance & safety reasons however I do know that a very small list of railways allow for people no younger then 16 to participate in Footplate Experiences but they are all smaller then standard gauge

What I would think this could be related to is fletcher jennings mabye after captain baxter left a private railway commissioned a engine for a similar use would love a full in depth video if possible
@terrier_productions5 ай бұрын
@@Secr_productions what about Emily or Baxter? Whilst I can see the resemblance between both engines, Emily is a fictional locomotive and her history is completely made up. I tend to ret-con the fictional stories of my models so I could change it that she was built by a company like Fletcher Jennings instead of the Midland Railway. All to most of my models have a fictional story whether they are based off a real locomotive or not
